I can not imagine a better place to have stayed this summer on our visits of Cinque Terre and the Portofino area. The room is fantastic and has a breathtaking view of the sea and surrounding mountains. No need for a TV (there is one, don’t worry) you have three windows facing the astounding scenery. The experience is multisensorial as you get gusts of fresh air and smells of aromatic herbs while every now and then you get to hear the harmoniuos sounds of the bells from the churches on the surrounding hills (during the day of course and at a pleasant intensity). The bed is comfortable, the room big and well lit, the bathroom clean and well equipped. The breakfast is generous and very pleasant as you get to enjoy the wonderful view and peace of the Leivi mountains on the terrace of Villa Rocca. Most importantly our stay was made fantastic by Stefania and Getto who have been the perfect hosts. They have been friendly and supportive, providing solutions for our every need we had and going above and beyond to help us. If you are not a fan of walking as we are, we reccomend coming by car or renting one. We did not come with the car and we had a great time walking down the hill and through Chiavari. Stefania has offered us to arrange for a rental, even negotiating a good price, but we were more than happy to get by on our own feet. A great big thank you to Stefania and Getto for welcoming us in their B&B and for their freindship. Looking forward to come back here soon and explore more of Liguria.

Everything. Our room had a sea view, wonderful. The building is a historic one in early 20th century which has been renovated beautifully. Rooms are specious and clean and the bathroom was very big with a amazing shower. Breakfast is perfect. Quality, quantity, variety. Extra bonus an aromatique water.

This boutique hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, and included a small balcony. The breakfast was a very large buffet with homemade pastries, espresso, bacon, eggs, and more.Lorenzo was friendly and helpful with suggestions on visiting Portofino and other sites. He held our luggage for us and arranged for a taxi as we waited in the breakfast room he had opened for us. It’s a short walk from the beach and many restaurants and stores.

We're a couple, and we came with our dog.

We're a couple, and we came with our dog. The fenced-in space was absolutely top-notch! The garden was immaculately kept, huge! A truly beautiful house, just a 10-minute drive from Chiavari, and therefore from both the main amenities and the sea. We had a wonderful time, and the owners are wonderful. We'll be back.

A very quiet village with a panoramic view of Chiavari.

A very quiet village with a panoramic view of Chiavari. It's wonderful to attend Mass on the Feast of the Assumption with the nuns of the Monastery of Santa Chiara. Compliments to the Pepen restaurant. Truly beautiful and with delicious dishes.
