Breakfast was excellent with cakes and pastry homemade and a wide choice of " commercial" ones. Their internal restaurant was amazing. They serve local food and they have their pizza oven inside ( they use wood). A broad selection of local wine. It is an experience to do.

We were lucky enough to have the whole apartment to ourselves. There's everything you need if you're walking Via degli dei - from a large shower to a shoe cleaner. The bedding and towels are of high quality, there is a big, sunny balcony (and clothes pegs), and after 7pm you can eat dinner in the host's restaurant next door.

We were received by the very lovely staff and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was locally sourced and tasted amazing. The room was clean and cozy and had a great lake view. A tiny breakfast buffet was setup especially for us.

I liked the warm, homy feeling of the place, thanks to the care and attention from Nina. The huge tomato and a bottle of wine at arrival, but also home-made bread and jam at breakfast. The place was very clean and I used the kitchen several times. I appreciated that the nights are still dark and quiet apart from some stars and a call from an owl in the distance. The kitchen well equipped and the location ideal as a base for trips to go around.

I just slept and got breakfast & dinner because I was busy away, so generally I arrived late afternoon and left early morning. Please note it is winter and not the best period to walk around and make discoveries.
