Location was perfekt, apartment was clean, quiet place, by opening the door you can see the Lake... Breakfast was really good! We were also eating a dinner at Mama Ciccia and you should definitely not miss it! Pinsa and Spagetti were so delicious... And the stuff is very kind!

The apartment is placed in the center of the city. It was recently renovated and the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The apartment was spotless. The host, Marco, made everything to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. We really appreciated his help and kindness.

We had an amazing stay in this accomodation. Very clean rooms, amazing breakfast with a beautiful View on the lake! Martina is a very friendly and welcoming host. The parking slots are also very good. Be aware that the accomodation is on a hill, which gives you a wonderful view but the walk down to the water takes about 25 min and walking up again can be a bit challenging for elderly people. Anyways we would definitely stay here again!

Words can’t describe how nice and perfect the place was. From accommodation to surroundings and our host. Perfect for a lake Como base. Food in the restaurant and breakfast .. top class. Stefano a gentleman and the rest of the staff great. The village is so quaint and away from the built up towns in other parts of Como… I could go on 😅 thanks for a perfect stay 👌 a car would be beneficial for where it is but there is a local taxi 🚕

People are kind and extremely helpful, 2 thumbs up for a perfect stay in the City of Motors!! (home of moto Guzzi, great motorcycle brand, continous production of motorcycles for over 100 y!!)

It is a pictoresque little city without many tourists.

It is a pictoresque little city without many tourists. There are various restaurants and little beaches. It feels Italian in a wonderful relaxed way. The public transport by boat is great for visiting other cities around the lake and leaving the car behind. Returning from "hot spots" like Bellagio or Varenna always felt like a relief.

We walked around the area, went to the grocery store, went down to the lake, walked around the city along the lake. We chose restaurants based on our favorite Italian rule: go where the locals go. Luckily, there are very few tourists in Mandello, so it was easy to find good places with tasty and cheap food. We moved around the city on foot. You have to take into account that the city is located at the base of a mountain, and part of the time you have to walk uphill.

A wonderful lakeside village, with a fantastic Moto Guzzi...

A wonderful lakeside village, with a fantastic Moto Guzzi museum and tour, away from the hustle and bustle of Bellagio, a true gem in Lake Como. Wonderful people everywhere, including the Mamma Ciccia, the Osteria Colombo. Concerts in the piazza outside our apartment and a wonderful village life experience.

We loved it there it there. Harbour accessible for ferries. Not as touristy as some place. We enjoyed just sitting on benches in the shade reading our books. We mainly catered for ourselves. I'm dairy free and my partner is veggie, we found it difficult to find somewhere to just have a simple meal that wasn't pizza or a bit pricey. The train station is 7 - 10 mins away although there is a bus replacement service til September buses every 15 mins so not too bad.

Loved Mandello. It is a fantastic location.

Loved Mandello. It is a fantastic location. This charming village offers plenty to do and is perfect for scenic walks along the lake or through the park. It's less touristy than the more well-known towns, which gives it an authentic, local feel. Restaurants, cafes, a big supermarket, free parking. We visited in mid May and it was amazing. Thank you! Looking forward to being back!

Mandello del Lario is a very nice town, not overwhelmed by tourists. The location of the apartment is perfect! We traveled with a baby and there was a small playground close (with babyswing 👌😁). There’s also a small tiny beach close (besides the gelateria, restaurants etc). The downstairs apartment also has a place to sit outside, we picked up a pizza and it felt like a private restaurant 😄 (very convenient for young parents). The owner is also super nice and made sure we were comfortable. We would go back here!! 👍

Set in a beautiful valley in Mandello del Lario, this is a gem of a find. The staff are super welcoming, and made sure we were able to eat even though we arrived late. The rooms are simple, but very clean with a great shower. The food from the restaurant was excellent. It is superb value for money, and easy to explore the region from here.

A very good place if you plan to travel by trains, because the station is reached in 2 min. on foot. The staff was helpful and polite. If you come to Mandello del Lario by car, you will be provided with a parking slots in the garage (extra paid service).
