The comfortable apartment is situated on the side of a mountain, with fantastic views across the valley from our private breakfast area. Stefano served a delightful and extensive breakfast as we enjoyed the view. Mulazzo is a small quiet town, and a very good base for exploring the Lunignana region, including Pontremoli and Montereggio ( a tiny "book town" with a fascinating history). There are restaurants in Mulazzo, but they were closed for holidays, so we used a well stocked supermarket on the outskirts of Pontremoli. Access to the town and parking adjacent to the apartment was easy. Thank you to Stefano for a really enjoyable stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breathtaking views from both accomodation and restaurants. Pool is long enough for swimming especially if you come in the morning when it's empty. Great location for exploring the mountains, lakes and waterfalls. 3 nights were not enough! If you walk in the evening from the restaurant you can see hundreds of fireflies.

We arrived at Podere Conti after an extreme flight delay and a drive in dreadful weather but the welcome was fantastic. We were just in time for dinner and the family couldn't have been more gracious. The food was incredible and the room was comfortable and spacious. In the morning there was a fantastic view over the surrounding area and Cornelia couldn't have been more lovely, chatty and helpful. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it's there for the good weather. Their ethos of sustainability and being organic in their farming is to be admired.
