this was one of our favorite stays in Sicily! the location is gorgeous and was great for us, close to the wineries. the staff at the hotel were helpful and kind, specially our waiter during dinner! the dinner was amazing too, maybe one of the best we’ve had and all local produce. the hotel rooms seemed recently updated, where the rest of the hotel had that charming mountain vibe. highly recommend staying here, we’d 100% come back here and stay longer!

The most welcoming welcome by Maria. Our bad italian was no problem. She explained all in English. Informed us about the town, what to see, and even sent us the better route to the hotel, so we would not get stuck in narrow streets. Fabulous room, proper, beautiful balcony and a shared terrace. The town itself is unique, we had a great dinner at 'El Presidente' ,what a magnificent host, mr Salvo, and what great food, cooked by his father.

It‘s a beautifully renovated old house in the old Center of Castiglione with great views from the top of the town on the surrounding landscape, the castle, church and of course Etna. We very much enjoyed the daily breakfast on the terrace with delicious local and organic food and even home-baked cake when available. Donna Denise is the perfect host: attentive, kind and very helpful with advice for restaurants and sight seeing for a proper Sicilian experience. Thank you for having us!
