Upon arrival we met Aldo, man of just enough words, "wood"artist and with a great sense of hospitality and authenticity. During our stay we felt that we had our own space (the pool was all mine, the whole day ;-)) and Aldo keeping in touch if all was okay for us. We appreciated so much the sharing of food (including eggs and a extra big surprise and feast..), fruit, vegetables, from Aldo's land. Even a relative bringing us food "Supppli" one evening, telling us to eat it now it's warm;-). We are Italy lovers and often go there for holidays, and Aldo's place will be kept as a very special place in our hearts. This aera in Umbria was a discovery for us, green, peacefull and loads of history, and good restaurants in the surroundings.

The range of food available for the breakfast was excellent and very tasty. The hotel building was beautifully quaint and old world. The town of Todi was like something from a fairytale especially the little narrow roads that were a joy to walk. A special mention for the hotel staff who went well beyond the call of duty to make our stay a very enjoyable experience.

The staff was so welcoming and answered questions right away. They even brought dog bowls for us when I'd forgotten mine at home. The location was fantastic and easy to get to. The room was beautiful and surprisingly quiet for being so central. We will definitely come back.

Alessandro was so friendly, helpful and generous. The room is really very beautiful with an amazing view. We were warm and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Right near the central square (100m) but quiet. There are lovely restuarants nearby and its a lovely town. It was such a treat to stay there. Thank you Alessandro!
