During a recent layover in Milan, I wanted to stay close to the Milpensa airport, but did not want to stay in a cookie cutter-style boring hotel. So for a 28€ ride in an airport taxi I had the opportunity to stay at Agroturisim Helianthus. For 80€ I got a room under the eves with A/C, breakfast, a room with a kitchen, private bathroom with shower, a TV, Breakfast and an airport shuttle back to the airport the following day. Also, I enjoyed peace and quiet, space, and a beautiful Vista. The owners are quick to respond and are so kind. The real reason I stayed aside from all those mentioned was that I got to swim in the canal, yipppee. My gawd, it was a perfect stay! Shame I could only give 10 out of 10.

I loved my short stay and this bed and breakfast.

I loved my short stay and this bed and breakfast. That is what was so amazing. Dinner was not expected, but our host made the most amazing dried tomato and olive oil pasta for two other guests and I. I don't know if he would do this for everyone who comes, but it is what touched my heart. The room was cozy. The building is 600 years old, so when you stay there, you experience a bit of history. The Ritz, you can get many places, but who can say they stayed in an old mill that served the community 600 years ago. The breakfast was outstanding! There was so much locally made cheese, fruit, bread, yogurt, and other goodies, I couldn't finish it. Great place at a good price, with a free ride to the airport in the morning.

Proximity to airport without the "airport" craziness.

Proximity to airport without the "airport" craziness. Smallish town about 15 min drive to Term at Malpena. There is a river close by for bathing. Nice area. Other hotels in area asked for $15/each way for shuttle. This is a free airport shuttle which is becoming extinct. Aer Milan is worthy of a generous tip to both drivers.

THE PLACE IS ACTUALLY 17 KMS AWAY FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT AND NOT 4.1 KMS AS SHOWN ON BOOKING.COM THE PLACE IS DESERTED WITH NO HUMAN BNEING IN SIGHT AS I ARRIVED THERE BY 5.00 PM ON THE DATE OF CHECK-IN THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT A PERSON AVAILABLE THERE. I WAITED FOR ABOUT 30 MINS TRYING TO FIND SOME PERSON / STAFF OF THE HOTEL BUT FAILED TO FIND ANYBODY. IT WAS SCARY EXPERIENCE. I HAD TO LEAVE THE PLACE WITHOUT STAYING AND DRIVE ALL THE WAY 17 KMS TO MALPENSA AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL FOR MY STAY. I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR THIS BOOKING AND HAVE WRITTEN TO BOOKING.COM AND WAITING FOR THEIR FAIR RESPONSE. PLEASE DO NOT DARE TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

We booked the place because of proximity to the airport!

We booked the place because of proximity to the airport! However, I would consider to come again as part of a nature - eco trip. The town of oleggionis very small and not too interesting. But the Parco and nature is excellent.

Eco farm in a beautiful setting, comfortable bed, spacious room and elegant breakfast room. Stream surrounds the property in a series of small dams that water the fields. Went running through meadows and trails. Walked to a trattoria for dinner. Beautiful nature. Ride to the airport was much appreciated.

Monica and Benito were very friendly. The breakfast was light, yogurt, cereal, croissants, cheese... just enough. The hotel was on very pretty property out in the country with horses and a crystal clear river that you can swim in. The room was very clean, my husband slept the best he had in a while because the bed was so comfy. If we had plenty of time to stay, this would be a lovely vacation.
