Perfectly located hotel 2-3 minutes walk to San Antonio bus stop. It is very central. Alpe di Siusi gondola is also fee minutes walk. Breakfast is superb. The best part are the hosts. They are super nice and very accommodating individuals. The shower is good. I will definitely book again at Hotel Cosmea in the future. Excellent property.

The staff was above and beyond. We have stayed at many Four Seasons hotels / luxury hotels and this staff was “authentic” not “in your face” but noticed when you needed their services. We will most definitely return multiple times. It truly was worth our “time”. Luica the manager of the main restaurant…..they are blessed to have her, she is truly caring about “you”!

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the owners—they made us feel right at home. Their homemade breakfast, especially the sweets done by Sylvia, was exceptional and full of heart. The location couldn’t be better: central, convenient, and ideal for exploring. Lovely hotel, the receptionist Chiara was super helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay even better. Parking is out front, and they had bus passes for us to get back and forth into town. Breakfast was good and they have an honesty bar which is cool, even better was the honesty coffee machine and you can use the machine when you want in the afternoons. it was such a fantastic place to stay, would stay again.

    This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives.

    This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives. I gave the hotel a review that reflects my honest opinion, mainly about the manager/host of the hotel. Obviously my review was not received with warmth from the hotel manager. He messaged me immediately via Whatsapp and blamed me being not polite to him, I have no idea where does this come from. I believe he has broken the golden rule of being in me the hospitality industry, if he cannot accept honest reviews, how can he improve to thrive on? The hotel itself is OK and the only problem I have is the steep climb (not the hotel's fault) and mainly the manager's manner.

    Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.

    A lovely town in the valley with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants but also gave easy access up into the mountains via cable car/funicular. Also easy to get the bus to St Christina and Selva for other cables cars and walks. The Val Gardena mountains are simply stunning with plenty of great walking accessible from Ortesei

    There is something for everyone in Ortesei and it is a special family destination as well. We loved the summer climate, the cool crisp air, and the beauty of the amazing Dolomites. The restaurants were great, there was ample shopping, and the locals were warm, friendly and helpful. We did not have a car, but did not need one with the free bus system that was very efficient. The gondolas, funicular annd chair lifts took us to some great spots for hiking and the ambience in the Refugios was great!

    Delightful small town with lots of ways to access hiking trails / ski areas. Maybe a little less convenient to mountain bikers, but superb for everyone else. St Christina and 1-2 villages upstream may be better suited to serious bikers. Ortisei is a great gateway to the spectacular Dolomite recreational areas.

    I say better than Cortina d’ Ampezzo as a base for hiking. More trailheads closeby. The town itself is more lively and the restaurant options are many. The public transport is also more efficient even if it was still off season.

    Beautiful location, quiet. Fabiana was very helpful chatting with us about our arrival and about the way to get there, she speaks portuguese, which was great and gave us nice tips about where to go and where to stay in Dolomites. Breakfast is very good, it’s a family run hotel and the place is really cozy. In fact I recommend to stay there in Ortisei rather in Cortina D’Ampezzo, and I recommend this hotel! There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that you go to city center and to Seceda ( which is fantastic!,,).

    Hotel Ronce was perfect. Presiding up the slope with a view of the entire town. It’s immaculate and I’ve never stayed anywhere with staff so accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and their generosity had no limits. Fantastic breakfast buffet, really useful free bus service, if you don’t fancy walking up and down the hill, and full of information and tips to help plan your activities. If I return to Ortisei I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

    Our room was very well appointed, it was equipped with everything we needed. We cooked some good dinners with the beautiful produce from the area. Our check in was very helpful as they gave us information about the area. The room itself was in a very central location and meticulously clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommended this hotel in Ortisei.

    The hotel was 20 metres from the bus stop which was a bonus. It was a 5 minute walk uphill to the Ortisei central cafes and restaurants. It could not have been more comfortable. The room was exceptional and the breakfasts an absolute highlight. The staff were so knowledgeable about the area and recommended daily walks.

    Really affordable for Ortisei and very nice. Quiet area of town, good if you want to get some sleep in before hiking instead of being near the hussle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and the dinner provided was great, ended up eating in the hotels restaurant almost every night of my stay.
