This small hotel seems like a remote hamlet, but the location is actually ideal. No matter how short or far your trip was, Silvia's Locanda Agli Amici is a bit like coming home to completely relax. At night it is quiet and peaceful, but during the day you can also avoid the hustle and bustle of the much-visited beautiful towns in this part of Tuscany. Not only are you within walking distance (1.5 km) of the edge of picturesque Cortona, on the way you will come across a beautiful old remote district at the old city wall before you descend into the city. You will always come across a formidably beautiful view of the plain to the south and west of Cortona. The view from the terrace by the pool, and even from the own bistro of 'Agli Amici' is also breathtaking. In the distance, Lake Trasimeno is also always showing off. Don't be fooled by the term 'bistrot'; in the room where an enormously varied and super tasty breakfast can be served in the morning, the most delicious local dishes and wines are served in the evening. It is a particularly good restaurant where the jack-of-all-trades Silvia and her small but very competent team ensure top service, with expert explanations about wines and dishes. And of course, breakfast tastes even better on the cinematically beautiful terrace with a view of the valley and Lake Trasimeno in the distance. The rooms are tastefully and modernly furnished. Don't expect a refined agriturismo (which is also beyond reproach), but this is just a little more refined. The name has already been mentioned a few times: hostess Silvia spares no effort to please her guests. This is an absolute must.

Amazing view from the hotel. Great localization in the city of Cortona. Spa is awesome. Breakfast was very good, and the bar was top (shoutout to Claudio😊). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Good spot to visit Siena, Perugia and Lago Trasimeno.

Excellent place for the vacation, faraway from the noises of the busy world. Beautiful views, lovely patio to enjoy prosecco in, very good restaurant, excellent breakfasts, very friendly staff. Our stay at Relais Villa Baldelli was absolutely wonderful! The property and rooms have a charming rustic character, yet everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained. It's clear that great care is taken to ensure every guest's wishes are fulfilled. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was a daily highlight—fresh, varied, and of excellent quality. Despite the intimate size of the hotel, the selection was always generous and diverse, with something for every taste. We especially loved having a private entrance to our room, which allowed us to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The view of Cortona from the property is simply breathtaking, and the clean, well-kept pool was the perfect way to cool off and unwind. There were always enough loungers available, and the atmosphere around the pool was calm and relaxing. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are deeply grateful for the warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Tuscany!

A lovely hotel with a fantastic location, a lovely atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed at the hotel before, but several years ago. The atmosphere is still the same. You feel so welcome and at home from the moment you step in. The breakfast is god, and the roms is nice and clean. I definitely give the hotel my best rekommandation. I already am looking forward coming back as soon as possible :-)
