Very convenient location, only few minutes outside the highway, the proximity to public transport and big market. Hotel is in a strategic location between Florence, Siena and other small Tuscan towns. Big and clean rooms, good breakfast.     The apartement was even nicer than pictures.

    The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.

    Poggibonsi and its surrounding areas offer a delightful Tuscan experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit for its strategic location for exploring Tuscany, rich history and culture, Chianti wine region, beautiful scenery, and relaxed atmosphere, providing an excellent choice for an Italian getaway.

    I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is.

    I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. Much bombed during WWII it still has some historic buildings in the town and in the surroundings including the archeological park, It has good public transport connections and is within easy reach of the spectacular and touristy town of San Gimignano by bus and other places such as the less developed Colle Val d'Elsa.

    Great location to make as a base for a few days in Tuscany. Loads of places to drive to everyday. Can drive and park at train station to places like Cinque Terre and Florence instead of driving to these places which will be a nightmare

    If you come for a short holiday, maybe you can find a better...

    If you come for a short holiday, maybe you can find a better place. Poggibonsi is not actually bad, but it does have a good non-European population which may not seem like 'real Italy' for you. The town seems a bit run down and dusty so not the ideal place for a vacation. It's the kind of place that shows you clearly that in 30 years the Italian population there will disappear. Otherwise, the place is acceptable and you can access any major landmark from Tuscany fast, with a car of course.

    Excellent size and space for an apartment. Great instructions and correspondence with the owner. Very clean and well stocked. Poggibonsi isn’t the most charming town but has everything needed and is strategically placed in Tuscany - 15 mins to San Giminano, 45 to Florence and great wineries around everywhere.
