If you’re doing the Via Degli Dei, you MUST stay here. This was perhaps the highlight of my trip - from the tasting menu (genuinely some of the best food that I had that week), to the views, the rooms, everything. Alfonso went above and beyond as a host. I ended up forgetting my Kindle and he drove to Fiesole so that I could get it back, saving me from having to book a very expensive taxi from Florence. Thank you again so very much for your kindness and amazing place!

I couldn't have wished for a better place to end my vacation in Tuscany. Francesco and his family's hospitality was exceptional, and the accommodation itself was simply wonderful. I received tips for restaurants and cafés in Pontassieve, as well as recommendations to take the train to Florence instead of driving my rental car, and I was even allowed to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden. Thank you again for everything.

My daughter and I spent 4 beautiful days in this apartment. Mrs. Larisa is very nice and helpful. We were welcomed with a nice treat on the table. The apartment is of course airconditioned and pretty well equipped, including even a washing machine and a tumble dryer, which is very useful on long trips with the family. The bed and both sofas are very comfortable, we slept well. You can even find basic hygiene products in the bathroom. The surroundings are quiet, safe and very picturesque. Free parking in front of the house. The train to Florence is convenient and within walking distance, as well as shops and bars in village center (cca 800-1000 m). We felt very much like at home. Everything was great ! Lovely and ultra cleaned accommodation in a tiny village. Everything you need is in there, and the host is very helpful, in a fluent english. Great location to explore this very interesting area in Tuscany. And, if you use the train, it will take you 30 minutes (and less than 3 euros) from the accommodation to the heart of Florence. Do not hesitate : book it right now !

Wonderful area, so pretty.

Wonderful area, so pretty. Not too far to Florence and Pisa if you are driving. Shops available. Wonderful vineyard area with magnificent views. Loved horse riding, drinking wines and eating local delights from the region. Don’t miss this gem of an area. Recommend staying at Agriturisomo Fattoria Lavacchio it’s marvellous.

Leonardo was an amazing host and he went out of his way to make our stay very fun and relaxing. The whole place is amazing, the housing very comfortable (it is, after all, dating back for 1661 !!!), the swimming pool is beautiful, the surroundings are great and we can only advice to book an appartment here and enjoy Tuscanny and its wonderful people, food and sights. And it is truly special to fall asleep to the deep silence of the countryside (I live in a city...) Merci Leonardo !

This is a very beautiful villa with stunning views and great facilities. It was owned by the same family for many years and then converted into a hotel. The inside is very beautiful and unique. Breakfast is a bit poor, I would say, but they also serve dinner and it is excellent!

Check-in was easy. The room was clean. The hotel was within walking distance of a large supermarket, multiple restaurants, and a train station. There was air conditioning that worked well, and the place was quiet.
