It was actually a transit for a (full) day in Rome. Instead of booking a hotel near FCO which was more expensive than this room rate, and not forget about the expensive fare for airport pick up+ drop off. I was extremely happy and satisfied with my last night staying in Rome. Such a beautiful fine hotel, the room is super clean, there is a garden in the property where I could do my exercise in the morning then head to hotel breakfast, warm and helpful hotel staff. The location looks far from FCO but it is actually very convenient to get there. If you travel light, just take the Leonardo Express direct train from FCO (€15) to Roma termini, hop on Bus 82 right in front of the termini, and a short walking distance you will reach the hotel. If you travel with big luggage bags, I chose to ride the taxi/uber from the hotel to Roma termini to the airport the next day. The taxi ride cost me €15.50. As for last night in Rome, I was happy l could enjoy a nice Cacciò e Peppe and delicious pizza at Mamma Pizza by just walking distance before leaving Italia.

There were way too many people in Rome. Long lines, congestion on sidewalks, uneven sidewalks, my wife fell in front of the train station! We ate next to the hotel, three out of four nights, but felt like we were being rushed.

Rome is an extremely interesting city, actually an open air museum. Due to the Jubileum, the Vatican is crowded so expect to stay in line to enter the main attractions: Vatican museums, St. Peter's square and Basilica. It does help to have reservations. Getting around is confusing to start with, but relatively easy once one gets the hand of it. Having a 7 day transport pass which we bought at the tourist office at the airport upon arrival was great.

Some tips for visiting the big sites.

Some tips for visiting the big sites. Don't visit the Vatican on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. You are unlikely to get into the Basilica with guided tour tickets since it is closed off. Forgetting queueing later. You will be there for hours. Also a visit to the Vatican museums is like being on a tourist conveyer belt. You basically get told to keep moving. When visiting the Colosseum don't forget your passport for ID. Don't bother with advance purchase tickets at the Pantheon. Queues for those without tickets are much shorter than for those with tickets.

Rome is a city with a lot of history "the eternal city" I have visited many times over the years, but still enjoy visiting. There are always new places, churches, basilicas, piazzas to discover and enjoy. In general, it is a very safe city, with lots of police presence in case of any emergencies.

3 full days is the perfect amount of time to see the main attractions like Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Castel Sant’Angelo. It does get busy so make sure to book tickets in advance, and try to go early in the morning or later in the evening There are plenty of other hidden gems in Rome too, so make sure to wander around and get lost around the city

It was okay. The reception staff where friendly enough. The first night the electrics cut out after I used my adapter. I was subjected to some verbal abuse from an older gentleman. I'd used this adapter in other hotels in Rome and Italy without issue. We had to plug our adapter into one of their adapters to use our items. The building is jaded and needs money spent on it. The area is great but very busy. I've stayed in Rome many times and found the beds uncomfortable at this property.

Despite being located in a VERY touristy part of Rome, this hotel is a peaceful and QUIET oasis from the chaos. I was shocked at how quiet my room! WiFi is excellent. Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff is wonderful. Little extras: cookies in the room each day. Breakfast was among the best I have ever had an Italy - excellent and beautiful assortment. Great shower.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Surprising fluffy and tasty croissants (for Italy) during breakfast. The location was very good, just across the US embassy and many 5* hotels - fairly easy to reach, away from the tourist noise but still reasonable distance to all key areas in Rome. Much appreciated that they could book us a hire car to take us to the airport.

The location is very very good, it close to a lot of visiting palecs, you can go anywhere by foot. the staff were also very kind. By the way, the price is very cheap, I don't know why, actually I choose the hotel because of the cheap price, but when I arrived, it was over my expectation.
