Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms and surrounding area. The SPA area is really awesome. The fitness center has everything what is needed for a good workout. Breakfast and dinner was always really delicious. The staff was extraordinary polite.

On booking the hotel we had a choice of several as you do We chose the Bellerive 5* and from the moment we walked in was greeted by front of house and made to feel exceptionally welcome. The chap on the desk Giuseppe was superb through out the stay This hotel is definitely worth a visit and lives up to the 5* rating which is sometimes not the case Other staff worth a mention was Andrea the young waiter who always had a smile and was a credit to the hotel and Stefano the breakfast waiter. Every member of staff should be mentioned as all equally as attentive and professional. The hotel was immaculately clean and the interior was modern and elegant with simple colours that made the rooms bright and classy. Swimming pool area is great and the minute you walk out the hotel gate you immediately on the Broad walk of the lake If you looking for a top hotel you won’t be disappointed with this hotel 5 * all the way

The check in was fast and easy, the reception recommended a few eating places but we were too tired to go out. Both the room and bathroom are in decent size and the furnishing seems new. The bed and pillows were so comfortable which was what I need after a long-haul flight. There is a complimentary breakfast provided, the spread was simple but good enough to give me a warm tummy before I set off to the next destination.

It was the perfect hotel for us. We had rooms with balconies next to each other as we requested. The rooms had good light. The bed was one of the most comfortable and had a duvet not just a sheet. The owner was kind and direct, helpful advice on parking. Restaurant recommendation with a discount. Breakfast was good. Perfect

The only thing that let Salo down was the weather

The only thing that let Salo down was the weather Rainy days outweighed the sunshine. The location of our hotel, shops ,restaurants and bars was spot on! Would definitely go back again but during the hotter months when the weather would be more predictable.Lake Garda absolutely gorgeous.

A piece of gold located in the middle of mountains. By the end of my stay I told all my friends that would like to retire there. The perfect amount of everything. Food was amazing everywhere’s we went 👌

We stayed in Salo for 2 nights for our anniversary in April.

We stayed in Salo for 2 nights for our anniversary in April. The town was relatively quiet which suited us. We were there to relax and stroll through the streets and enjoy lazy lunches and dinners. It did not disappoint and everyone was super friendly. We loved it and will definitely return.

For most tourists Salo is a charming little town at Lake Garda. Well, it is. But did you know that Salo used to be the capital of Italy? There are many buildings in the town that used to house ministries or official services of the Italian Social Republic (1943-1945). The town has historic value.

Salò is a nice, walkable town, close to other towns on Lake Garda. It’s a stop for several ferries, so you can visit other towns on the lake without driving. The lungolago is beautiful. You can walk the entire length of the golf of Salò.

Salo is a lovely town on the shore of Lake Garda, from which...

Salo is a lovely town on the shore of Lake Garda, from which there is an excellent ferry service allowing access to most towns around the lake while an occasional service takes visitors to the private but beautiful Isola di Garda. The promenade is extremely pleasant on which well-dressed local people stroll. It is fringed with a range of restaurants to reflect all tastes and pockets. Narrow streets and alleyways and pleasant squares link the promenade to the town itself, which has a wide range of retail opportunities, an excellent museum, cathedral and other attractions that make it an interesting place to while away a day. Many people say that it is quieter than more 'touristy' resorts on the lake, and that suited us well. Of course the views across the lake to the distant show-topped Monte Baldo (accessible by cable car from Malcacene) are stunning, and the mood changes often depending on the weather. A decent sunset illuminates the mountain tops, often wreathed in cloud, in a stunning display of colour. A perfect place.

I still can`t imagine that I`ve found so wonderful place as Lake Garda Hostel. Accommodation is clean and fresh, additional features as air-condition, flat TV-Set and big bathroom is game changer. Fresh and tasty breakfast with cup of coffee served by smiling hotel staff eaten on hotel terrace is perfect time to finalize discussion about plans for upcoming day. Hotel is located 5-7 minutes by walk from two supermarkts with Italian specialties and 5-7 minutes from Salo promenade.

An excellent small appartment located on the ground floor of a small block within walking distance of Salò centre. The rooms are a good size with plenty of space for your things. Parking is secure (and cool) in an underground garage. The host's instructions for arrival were clear, although the keys are a little complicated - there are several needed to come and go from the building. We enjoyed our time there and would be happy to stay again.

Everything! Breathtaking views from the balconies overlooking Lake Garda. Fabulous roof terrace for afternoon sun. The apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need and was to a very high standard. Good restaurants and shops were available locally. Mirella was extremely welcoming and very accommodating during our stay.
