Breakfast was very good, with a large variety of options including do-it-yourself caprese with delicious italian tomatoes and excellent olive oil. Hospitatity was awesome, the owner was very attentive and kind and always ready to assist where possible.

Cosy and beautiful hotel. Our room was convenient and quite spacious. Parking, nice pool. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Location beautiful, 10 mins walk to the town centre. Staff extremely nice and helpful. All the premises were spotless clean at all times. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is situated 100m from the Garda Lake shore. The room was large and nicely furbished, with a comfortable bed, a practical wardrobe, modern and functional bathroom, nice balcony with a lake view. Spotless cleanliness and cleaning services. Very good and varied breakfast buffet! You can have a relaxing walk by the lake or just on Salo's streets where are plenty of restaurants and shops, in a walking distance there is a port for boat-trips on the lake. Even if we had a short stay, the hotel played a important part in having a relaxing and memorable escape in Garda region!

It was the perfect hotel for us. We had rooms with balconies next to each other as we requested. The rooms had good light. The bed was one of the most comfortable and had a duvet not just a sheet. The hotel was very convenient for the ferry terminal, maybe 3 minutes walk. The staff were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed their small menagerie of parrots and a friendly dog. The view from the room was splendid. They also have a lakeside restaurant were the food was top notch.

The only thing that let Salo down was the weather Rainy days outweighed the sunshine. The location of our hotel, shops ,restaurants and bars was spot on! Would definitely go back again but during the hotter months when the weather would be more predictable.Lake Garda absolutely gorgeous.

A piece of gold located in the middle of mountains. By the end of my stay I told all my friends that would like to retire there. The perfect amount of everything. Food was amazing everywhere’s we went 👌

We stayed in Salo for 2 nights for our anniversary in April.

We stayed in Salo for 2 nights for our anniversary in April. The town was relatively quiet which suited us. We were there to relax and stroll through the streets and enjoy lazy lunches and dinners. It did not disappoint and everyone was super friendly. We loved it and will definitely return.

For most tourists Salo is a charming little town at Lake Garda. Well, it is. But did you know that Salo used to be the capital of Italy? There are many buildings in the town that used to house ministries or official services of the Italian Social Republic (1943-1945). The town has historic value.

Salò is a nice, walkable town, close to other towns on Lake Garda. It’s a stop for several ferries, so you can visit other towns on the lake without driving. The lungolago is beautiful. You can walk the entire length of the golf of Salò.

Salo is a lovely town on the shore of Lake Garda, from which there is an excellent ferry service allowing access to most towns around the lake while an occasional service takes visitors to the private but beautiful Isola di Garda. The promenade is extremely pleasant on which well-dressed local people stroll. It is fringed with a range of restaurants to reflect all tastes and pockets. Narrow streets and alleyways and pleasant squares link the promenade to the town itself, which has a wide range of retail opportunities, an excellent museum, cathedral and other attractions that make it an interesting place to while away a day. Many people say that it is quieter than more 'touristy' resorts on the lake, and that suited us well. Of course the views across the lake to the distant show-topped Monte Baldo (accessible by cable car from Malcacene) are stunning, and the mood changes often depending on the weather. A decent sunset illuminates the mountain tops, often wreathed in cloud, in a stunning display of colour. A perfect place.

The hotel is sat adjacent to the lake, with some rooms directly overlooking it. It is perfectly situated for everything in Salò, and the owners can’t do enough to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. The buffet breakfast even included Prosecco as a drink to choose from! (Breakfast is on until 11am, so mainly late diners would choose this as brunch!) The staff are all very good at their jobs and all are very polite and helpful. The rooms have air con, which is a must during Summer months.

The hotel is located at the end (or the beginning) of Lungolago Zanardelli which is perfect for a pleasant stroll on the shores of the Lake Garda. The room was spacious for 3 people, and the bathroom was a must ! Breakfast was delicious and buffet-style. If you come by car, book in advance as there is a parking lot not far from the hotel.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The cleanliness was impeccable, 10 out of 10. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Wonderful breakfast, great location, and stunning views. Absolutely delightful – a top choice if you're visiting Lake Garda.
