The hotel's location is perfect for starting the hike to the canyon. The room is quite spacious and cozy. The staff is just beyond great! We arrived a lot later than expected (unfamiliar serpentines, with a rental car, in the dark: bad idea) and the whole time someone stayed and waited there for us, even though we were the only guests that night (not main season). The breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel was also great.

We had an amazing time at this bnb, which is everything you can hope for in a Sardinian stay. The hostess, Maria, is incredibly welcoming and cooks a beautiful fresh breakfast for you every morning (local products only, homemade the day of). The room is spacious and cosy, with private quarters for the bathrooms. Everything is clean, authentic and the view from the porch is simply amazing. Maria goes the extra step to make you feel welcome and gives great restaurant/ activities recommendations. We had a great time and would easily recommend, especially for couples.

The place is off the turist path, but it is well positioned for hiking trails (Gorropu, Pedra lunga, Goloritze). As such It offers a unique experience of an Italian village (non turistic) I'm, where the local bar/pizzeria is the place where people meet, talk, come and go 5 times before you finish the pizza. Carlo, the owner, was very friendly and treated us with a home made pie (thanks to his mom). All in all a very nice experience.

The hotel enjoys a beautiful location on a hill, close to town. It's a great place to relax, except on Saturday ( probably there will be parties going on), but that didn't bother us.

The rooms are amazingly curated, they exude tradition, the exposed stone walls are a beautiful touch as much as the repurposed wood head boards, the shutters, the traditional furniture. The attention to detail is amazing, the wall art that pictures traditional portraits are also a great touch, the embroidered bed sheets and pillow cases made us feel like we are sleeping in grandmas house. The availability of coffee and water for me as a big plus. Giuseppe has done an amazing job with his grandma's house and it was a pleasure to stay there. He is an amazing host, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, he's always available to help, to give advice and recommendations. I highly recommend Su Ponte B&B and i highly recommend visiting his local produce food van in Piazza dei caduti, you won't regret it.
