The room was spacious and comfortable and the toiletries provided every day was not only useful, but very well selected and rich in feel. There was a splendidly broad selection for breakfast, and dinner was very lovely. As a non meat eater, the staff really went out of their way to make sure I was okay. It was also very kind of the staff to print out an English translation of the menu. The staff were extremely, friendly, helpful and efficient. We really could not have asked for more. The location is great, right on the edge of the piste. We'd have no hesitation in returning.

It's a charming place, perfect for a relaxing holiday with the opportunity to explore Sulmona, the beautiful Scanno, Pescasseroli, and all the other stunning natural attractions. The food is excellent and you're likely to encounter wild animals. For nature lovers, you can even swim in the lake... what more could I say?

A fantastic village surrounded by nature, you can reach all the most picturesque spots in the Abruzzo National Park in just a few hours by car. The village has a grocery store and various places to eat and drink. Perfect for nature walks or wildlife spotting.

The location of the town is excellent for reaching places...

The location of the town is excellent for reaching places such as the Camosciara with the water lily waterfalls, Lake Barrea, the deer center, etc. The bar on the street and the pizzeria are excellent, but there are also restaurants and grocery stores. Villetta Barrea is very beautiful.

I've been visiting the National Park since I was a child:...

I've been visiting the National Park since I was a child: the setting is exceptional, but you have to love the mountains, the nature, the tranquility, the animals... The facility, in fact, accepts dogs and cats, and I've been going there for 10 years now. I'll continue to do so whenever I can.

The most important thing here is the amazing host Lea. She was so warm, really helpful and went over and above. Her English was fantastic and the hotel had some great personal touches. She even made the breakfast cakes. The place is basically new renovated from an old church with some incredible views. The town itself is exquisite, with very homely restaurants, nature on its doorstep and within 1-2 hours of some amazing historic towns. This hotel shows the best overall value and quality in the area.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel in general is very child friendly, they provided us with a free cot. The food (half-board) was really good. Every morning we got to choose a starter and a main course from 3 options. They have one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever encounted!

Nice little room in an old stylish stone house in the center of Villetta Barrea. Many restaurants in walking distance, parking lot for free opposite the house. Delicious homemade muffins for breakfast. Stella the host was very friendly and helpful.
