Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Helped us secure our bicycles, gave us a short tour, explained the onsen inside and the river onsen as well. Recommended a great place for dinner and served a fantastic Japanese breakfast. Slept in a traditional Japanese room, it was very comfortable. The place has a small cozy bar/breakfast nook. Had some Sake and chatted with the host for a night cap.

House is excelent. We always wanted to stay in a place that captures the traditional japanese sentiment, and it delivered. Also the owner really went out of his way to make us feel confortable and welcome. The beds were great! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The staff were beyond lovely. They helped me with my vegetarian meals, and also managed to contact a taxi company to pick me up from Koguchi once I was done with my hike. The private hot spring was extremely nice, and bedrooms were super comfy. They provided tea, a yukata to change into. The location is fantastic.

The staff were lovely and very helpful before and during our stay. The house is spacious and scrupulously clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the bath is worth the wait to fill with hot spring water. We enjoyed the free snacks and instant noodles for a no fuss dinner. The Kawayu Onsen bus stop is a few meters away, making transport easy. Soaking in the river hot springs is a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was very helpful and considerate when we arrived after a long hiking day. The property was clean, very well equipped, very comfortable, nicely decorated. and a few minutes walk from the main bus stop.. The kitchen was great for preparing food, and there was lots of complimentary food. We were able to wash and dry our clothes in the laundry.
