Shabu shabu, sashimi, sushi galore etc amongst a wide variety of food to suit most taste for buffet dinner, plus complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, wine, beer, sake, japanese whisky and brandy at dinner plus in the lounge after dinner. Quiet and serene surroundings despite near to a road, opposite Lawson and near to gas station. V convenient for driving to the tourist sites in Mt Aso. Room is a bit worn out but clean and big for Japanese standards. No wonder it was crowded. Great value for money.

Staff were really friendly and go all out to make you feel comfortable. Although the house has a history of 150 years old, there were technology such as sound sustem, projector and even Karaoke over the BBQ dinner. Definitely recommended to have a stay

Our host was incredibly welcoming and the other guests really respectful so we felt right at home. The location was ideal for visiting hiking spots nearby. There was the possibility to do laundry which we really appreciated and there is a good yakiniku restaurant nearby (our host even kindly drove us there and brought us back).
