The location of the hotel was excellent - within walking distance of everything, including the JR station, the canal and major attractions. Otaru is a compact city that's easy to explore on foot, and the hotel's location made it especially convenient to get around, even during snowy or rainy weather. We originally planned to join the Ono Ranger Tour but decided to start exploring on our own a bit earlier in the morning, which ended up fitting our schedule much better. The hotel itself was newly renovated and very clean. While it doesn't have a large public bath, the breakfast was outstanding and became a highlight of out stay. Another special touch was the nostalgic atmosphere created by gas lights and an antique orgel playing music on the top floor during certain hours - it really made the experience memorable. Overall, it was a perfect stay filled with beautiful memories.

room is clean and it comes with free ice cream outside the onsen area which is pretty good to enjoy some cool sweets after hot bath. breakfast is very good as it has on the spot grill seafood and most happy part for my son is that he can have melon for breaksfast.
