Travel for busines. Great location, restaurants and konbini near by. I believe was good for families too, because saw families with kids having a good time at onsen and breakfast. Next business travel, will stay here again.

Excellent hotel, immaculately clean, friendly staff, great amenities and super close to the station. More of a business hotel I think buy we were fine as tourists. Coin laundry on site. Short walk to big supermarket, resturants and convenience stores. Great value for money. Easy walk to the zoo and park to see the red pandas.

The guesthouse was spacious and fully equipped, and the bedrooms were laid out beautifully. The property was very close to several excellent restaurants (and a fantastic French patisserie down the back streets), and well situated to explore the local artisan villages. Our host was extremely friendly and very helpful - pointing out the local sites and organising taxis for us. … and we loved the Kotobuki restaurant!… ( recommended by our host)-great food and a wonderful friendly family!

Tabaki itself is a gem, steeped in history with beautiful, well-preserved architecture. Every room tells a story, and the traditional design combined with modern amenities provided a comfortable and unique stay. Breakfast was another highlight – delicious and thoughtfully prepared, offering a variety of local specialties that gave us a true taste of Echizen. Overall, our stay at Tabaki was exceptional. The host's hospitality, the amazing house, and the fantastic breakfast all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Echizen!
