It is a very cozy, well equiped and big Apartment. It has everything you might need. The Host Takashi san is also very nice and has a massive collection of Vinyls that you can borrow and listen to. The neighborhood is quiet and there are Restaurants and Shops within Walking distance. Also the JR Station is 5 minutes away so you can get easily to the Nakasendo Trail. We would recommend staying in the guesthouse.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever been to! The place is massive and the wooden structure so beautiful! Everything feels new! The amenities are impeccable. This accomodation is 11/10. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, inspiring and relaxing. It is one of those place that influence the whole trip to the better. To the best. The terrace, the bath tub, the rooms, I don’t even know where to start. It is so good. The host Takumi (and his family) are the most wonderful people ever. He picked up our luggage and drove us to the airport. That is crazy.

The accommodation and facilities were lovely. The foot onsen was a real bonus after a big day's walk. Everything was well organized and the customer service was excellent. Our late arrival was accommodated on last minute's notice. We had a beautiful and delicious dinner which was conveniently prepared for us. The tent and the site had everything we needed including a firepit and a wonderful view.

Not only is the guest house absolutely beautiful, but the host was extremely helpful and hospitable which made this stay the best we had during our Japan trip. He drove us to Magome so that we managed to complete the Nakasendo trail just in time before the last bus departed. He also made a dinner reservation for us and drove us to an Onigiri restaurant for breakfast. We had a great stay!

We arrived on a Wednesday and the cafe was closed so it was very quiet and peaceful. The door to the cafe was open and there was a welcome sign with our name on it as we approached the back where the stay is located. There were very nice dishes, glasses, coffee cups, etc. The bunk beds were comfortable and the drapes for privacy were a plus. We went for a sake tasting down the street which was simple but nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back and stay longer. If you’re eating in town, you must make reservations!
