This place was amazing! The host was extremely kind and helpful. We went specially for the Ice Village at Hoshino Resort and the host picked us up at the train station. The room was extra cozy and comfy. The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable and the food was AMAZINNNNNNG! It was in our fridge ready for us so we could eat whenever we wanted which was nice.

The lodge is beautifully designed and built by the owner himself. Right in the middle of nature you can see foxes, deer and tanuki from your window. Very modern interior but a cosy feel. Lovely place!

I stayed a few days ago (winter 2024), and definitely Takashi and his hotel provided exactly the warmth and comfort one needs in a remote place like Tomamu. Everything was very simple, which allowed me to enjoy Tomamu to the fullest. I recommend it!
