Excellent service, very affordable hotel that provides above and beyond for a 2 star (according to booking) hotel. Nice breakfast, nothing speacial, but filling. Quiet room, free tea and other drinks. Complimentary food.

Location was excellent- just across from the station. The communal eating area had lots of vending machines plus a microwave where you could heat your own food. When we visited they were serving tasty local-style udon for free in the evening! Staff were super conscientious. An excellent stay😊

Pros: 1. The quiet, lyrical atmosphere around Utazu Station. 2. A variety of large retailers, including Every (a business supermarket), Aeon Town, and local markets. 3. Excellent quality and affordable restaurants. Things to consider when traveling: 1. It's primarily a bedroom community, so if you don't have a bike or car, getting around can be tiring. 2. There aren't any tourist attractions, so it's recommended for those who want to experience a local atmosphere. Also, it doesn't have the feel of an old-fashioned countryside, but rather of a fully developed, modern town, so it's not recommended if you're looking to see old-fashioned buildings. Cons: 1. There's a lack of accommodations close to the station. 2. There are no duty-free shops nearby. If you want to buy duty-free goods or souvenirs, you'll need to visit the surrounding major cities (Okayama, Takamatsu).
