Very friendly and polite staff. Spacious and clean room. Relaxing atmosphere. Love their buffet which offers different local delicacies. Even though we can’t speak Japanese, the staff tried their best to explain the facilities and food items to us. They can speak some English and some can speak Mandarin. Very professional team of staff.

We are a group of two vegetarians and stayed for two nights. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are definitely vegetarian-friendly Japanese-style dishes. If you are a vegetarian, we highly recommend this accommodation as they are very accommodating to our requests and considerate in preparing the meals. Shiretoko is known for its seafood, so finding vegetarian meals can be very difficult. However, at this place, their vegetarian dishes are spectacular. Additionally, the hosts, an elderly couple and other staff, are very friendly and kind. Thank you all so much for the wonderful stay.

Without a doubt the best place we ever stayed at in Japan, and we have been to quite a few special ones. As we were on self driving trip, the location of the hotel/Inn was only 4 mins drive into Rausu Town. Bed was comfortable and room was alright. Breakfast is just toast and free flow of instant coffee/tea or hot cocoa. The place was well renovated, so things looks pretty new.
