We had a delightful stay at Osugi-ya. The breakfast, dinner and tour were all incredible. You can tell that so much thought and heart went into the meals and the inn itself. The inn is accessible by bus from Kamo station, and we had zero issues getting to the inn via public transport. The staff were so helpful, and were so knowledgeable about tea. We came to Wazuka to learn more about tea and also to escape the hustle and bustle of Kyoto City. This inn absolutely did not disappoint. We hope to come back here again! We left the inn and Wazuka with many bags of tea and plenty of core memories 🥹

The owners, Kevin & Yukie, treated us like family members and made us have a pleasant, warm, and happy three nights. The breakfast is English style. It is delicious and nutritious. The eggs used are fresh eggs picked up in the chicken coop every day. It is super excellent! Kevin and Yukie recommend nearby private attractions, such as 岩船寺, 笠置寺 and和茶園, etc., all of which are impressive and satisfy the body and mind.

We love this hotel, we came back again! You can easily travel anywhere near(Kyoto, Fushimiinari) by train, very close to station. Ramen, onsen are excellent as always! Famous park with deers is also very close(approx 10-15 min by walk). You can have a massage on the massage chair and ice-cream for free! And buy any kind of milk after bath!

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi.

The meal was inspirational and the chef was so kind and carefully explained all the dishes to my wife and I, even though we spoke no Japanese. The passion and love show in each dish. The room is hyper modern, I was blown away. The open air bath was blissful, and all the little touches like free snacks,beer, ramen etc The other staff were kind and helpful and brought my wife some items she needed ASAP.

The beds extremely comfortable. Great, clean rooms, 15 min. away from the city center, located next to a tea plantation and next to a "michinoeki" ! The reception staff was so nice !

Very large and comfortable room. Bathroom was great, as was the washer/dryer in the room. Close to the train station and 20/25 minute walk from the Main Street / Deer park. Self checkin was also very simple.

Beautifully designed hotel with tasteful accent of Japanese wood. Lovely facilities with spacious rooms and a lovely restaurant that serves breakfast, dinner and has also a small self serving bar for an aperitif. However the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Absolutely lovely, helpful and professional. We had the pleasure to be checked-in by Rie and she was absolutely brilliant. So lovely and helped us settle rapidely so we could be ready for a wedding photoshoot we had on the day.
