The location is perfect, right on the beach, quiet and feels authentic. Away from the tourist crowds closer to Mombasa. The staff team are excellent and I was impressed with the quality of the meals. The Sands at Nomad is an exceptional, world-class resort located on a prime site on Diani Beach, Kenya. The resort is surrounded by tropical forest which ensures that there is no outside noise pollution. The forest is home to a variety of creatures, including at least 2 types of monkeys (Black and white Colobus and Syke's or Samango monkeys) Dik-dik, Bush babies (Grester Galago) and numerous species of birds. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, ranging from standard Sea Breeze rooms to private villas. I had a Beach bungalow - ideal for single travelers or couples, whilst my friend had a standard Sea Breeze room. The Beach bungalow had the advantage of being right on the beach (literally about 15 m from the pure white sand) and benefitted from the sea breeze, whereas the Sea Breeze room, despite its name, did not get much benefit from the breeze due to tall trees which blocked the view of the beach, but had a great ambience. Both rooms were air conditioned, so the breeze was not essential. There are a wide range of watersports and activities on offer.

Amkia Villas are extremely amazing value for money, super clean and bright and I really loved our stay. Everyone was very welcoming and flexible. The pool is also perfect size and everything else was also just perfect. I will definitely visit again!

First and Foremost, the staff were wonderful. That alone would make me return. Charles and Danson were always on hand to help with anything and the friendliness was second to none. Then Charles who looked after the Pool was such a lovely man, with such a lovely smile and chat and again always nice to see him and he kept our pool sparkling clean. Location was perfect for us and used to love getting up early for a jog along the wonderful beach, followed by a swim and then breakfast. Will definitely return to Diana beach.

A piece of paradise - very nice little modern place to stay…I cannot fault a thing instead highly recommend;) The place itself is super nice and clean and modern concept with eco cabins…the view to the ocean…the access to the beach…the restaurant…better than we imagined…a place where You can really relax and rest…and as I did some research before booking a stay, I think that there is no such similar place on that strip of Diani beach….You can find big old hotels but this is rare….and especially have to point out that the real-real treasure in this hotel is the staff…The people working there make such a great value to the place…Me and my family staying there for 11days felt like being part of Lala Galu’s family somehow😊 Big hugs&kisses from Estonia!!!
