This is a beautiful resort tucked away in the mountains. The lobby and community areas are very modern and beautiful. Although the rooms need a bit of an update, they are still comfortable enough to make it work as a stay. The views surrounding the resort are breathtaking. The suites are comfortable for larger groups. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and I look forward to coming back again in the future.

The owner was extremely nice and gave us a lot of tips. He made us feel very welcome and even drove us to the bus station. The hotel was very clean, nice and comfy. Perfect location and sea view from our room. 10 min from fish market on foot. Next to the bus line that takes you directly to Seoraksan park. I would certainly choose it again if I return

Goeson is a lovely little beachside town with friendly...

Goeson is a lovely little beachside town with friendly locals. I would like to visit again. There are plenty of coffee shops, a fish market, great restaurants, convenience stores close by. It's easy to walk around Goseong if you are staying close. We liked having a car though so we could visit the Waterpia, Sokcho and other areas.

I went for two nights and three days, and the restaurants...

I went for two nights and three days, and the restaurants were generally good, reasonably priced, and friendly. The ocean was clean and relaxing. Ayajin was the busiest, followed by Songjiho. Jajakdo. Sampodae is quiet and great for swimming. Bongsudae has deep waves and strong waves, so it's mostly used for surfing, with a few young couples. The Unification Observatory was surprisingly good. The museum had a lot to see, but it was a bit tiring because of the stairs and high ground. I wouldn't recommend it for older people. I sweated a lot in the middle of summer, so a mini fan or fan is essential. It was amazing to see North Korea. The ocean was really pretty.

Goseong is less crowded than Yangyang or Sokcho in terms of...

Goseong is less crowded than Yangyang or Sokcho in terms of traffic. Sokcho itself is quite busy. This trip was a combination of Goseong, Yangyang, and Sokcho. Goseong includes Cheongganjeong, Hwajinpo, Hwaamsa Temple, and Bauzium. For accommodations, it's best to visit Geumgangsan Condo along National Road 7. Hwajinpo is a place where you can spend more time. There's also a Hwajinpo Condo, but I wish I had spent more time there.
