Ulsan is a city centred around its major industry - vehicle manufacture. We attempted to arrange a Hyundai factory tour - the world's largest car plant - (before we left home in Australia and again when we arrived in Ulsan) but the factory management made this too difficult which was disappointing. We had incorrectly assumed that as satisfied owners of a new Hyundai SUV we would be welcomed. Some outdoor attractions are worthwhile eg Daewangam Park and the museum's hi-tech tour of the city, including a glimpse of the ancient rock paintings. The more recent history of Japanese influence was evident in many places.

i am wain.i am a traveller.ulsan is nice too visit.some nice places too see.the big wheel is worth going on get of bus 124 127 307 and you will see.but so far in my 2 3/4 monthes in korea i have found too many smokers and spiters and it is not clean.if they cleansd the foot parthes it would be better. show my name as WAIN in preveiwes

Tourists visiting Ulsan can explore industrial attractions like Hyundai Motor's Ulsan Plant, which offers factory tours, and Jangsaengpo Whale Cultural Village, which provides insights into the city's history of whaling. The apartment is located close to Ulsan University. Restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby, but the apartment has a basic cooking eqipment if needed. The room is clean and comfortable, and has a nice cozy atmosphere. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean. It is easy to find and enter, exactly as the host's message described (just had to put an extra * after the code).

The staff were attentive to my requests and could understand my English well. The hotel's location was strategically near the intercity bus terminal and a train station with trains running towards Busan. The coin laundry was easy to use, and my laundry felt fresh after washing and drying.
