This was the most valuable part of our entire trip. The staff at the guesthouse go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and help you organise everything from transport to tours. The owner Kong, took us on a tour of the Plain of Jars and went out of his way to take us to all three sites, arrange our lunch, take photos, answer all our questions, and educate us on the history of the war in Laos and the impact it has on the country to this day. It is absolutely worthwhile doing a trip out to Phonsavan just to stay here and do the tour with Kong.

The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.
