Unexpectedly found, It is small villa, with mini fridge and kitchen. Room is plenty for 2 of us, with a comfortable bed. Everything was there that we can think of like hot water, A/C, and the internet. Owner of the place was very kind towords us.Beach near it was one of the best. He arrange a village tour for free of charge. Breakfast was also good. The time spent there was very enjoyed.

I would agree with those who said that Sky and Sand are by far the best accommodation in the area. Everything was absolutely perfect: the rooms are even better than in pictures, very beautifully designed, the whole area is peaceful and serene, and of course the service is just fantastic, so special thank you to Samante and Deepa. Not many food options in the area. Beach is okay not great. Ocean beyond the reef is very rough, no real swimming area. Area is also not very upscale, compared to other areas we have been to in sri lanka.

Lovely place to relax. Large beach.

Lovely place to relax. Large beach. Not many restaurants on the beach and not as populated with tourists as other areas we visited, but we loved spending time in Shah Shah's and found a sun bed to relax in with an umbrella. Also recommend Pier 88 to eat out in near by Aluthgama, lovely river views and good quality food. Also recommend Kandoori if you fancy a bit of Indian cuisine. We didn't do many day trips as we had already done some in Mirissa but we did do a boat safari that was pleasant enough. Great location if you want to be relatively near to Colombo and the airport. We mostly relaxed by the pool and had Ayurvedic massages so recommend finding a nice hotel with good facilities. Worth a visit.

We had a warmly welcome and our rooms were already done as we arrived. The stay is wonderful and near by the beach. Pradeepa and her family are awesome and kind people. And Pradeepa is absolute a fantastic chef.

There was a choice of continental or Sri Lankan breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly The hotel is only 5 minutes' walk from a wonderful beach.
