The views!!!!! They are simply breathtaking, especially from the room and the pool area. The food was delicious and well presented. The breakfast in particular was really generous. The employees are so polite and they are doing everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The availability of tuktuks onsite at a reasonable price.

It is in a quiet and beautiful location with amazing views. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The food at the restaurant is tasty, and the pool is wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable, and I loved being surrounded by nature. A perfect place to relax!

Despite it is a bit hard to reach there specially if you have a lot lf luggage you will need multiple tuk tuk rides which is arranged by the hotel But the view deserve it It is one of the best locationa and views yoy can eber get in ella It is pretty fantastic and the staff was so friendly The food is great and we were so happy

This place was exceptional! It’s run by a family and they make sure you have everything you need. The whole property including the room and the bathroom were very clean and spacious. Obey, the gentleman who runs the place gave us recommendations of places to have dinner. He even looked after me by getting me some medicine from the shop as o wasn’t feeling too well. I must also add that the breakfast was so delicious, the best breakfast we’ve had in our 5 day road trip. We requested the local breakfast instead of the western breakfast. So, all in all, we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and clean. Each room has an amazing view of the greenery. Very kind and helpful staff. They really take care of their guests. I stayed there with a friend and we felt well looked after. The staff help with arranging transport to the places you want to visit. You can definitely relax at this property. Ella has an amazing vibe, it’s a very tourist-friendly place and a perfect base for daily hiking trips. It’s very different from other Sri Lankan cities and definitely worth a visit. But if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, choose accommodation slightly outside the center to avoid the noise

On the one hand Ella is really beautiful.

On the one hand Ella is really beautiful. Great views nice waterfalls, great hiking spots. On the other hand it is packed with tourists. You have to go out of the city quite far do find a more quiet area. Ella itself is quite small since there’s only one “big” road. For us it was way too crowded. It’s not the cute little local mountain village it used to be.

Stayed for 2 nights.

Stayed for 2 nights. Found it a bit crowded & it rained on both days. Chill Cafe is a great place to hangout & Somasiri is where you can get your essentials. 9 Arches bridge is...well, just a bridge but Ella has cute little train station and breathtaking views on the train ride down to Kandy.

It's a very nice, small town packed with restaurants and bars. The town centre may lack a bit of authenticity being on european side with trendy cafes and night clubs. Great for a short stay. Many activities around: Ella rock, Little Adam's peak, nine arch brige, waterfalls, tea plantations, Mahamevnara monastery, Many places ofering ayurvedic massage.

Ella is a great stop if you are heading from Nuwara Eliya to...

Ella is a great stop if you are heading from Nuwara Eliya to the south. It's mostly a tourist town, not that big. But the town is very organized and picturesque. The Ravana waterfalls is surely going to mesmerize you. And, if you are into hiking, this is a place you must include in your itinerary.

I had a really wonderful experience in Ella. The room was perfectly clean and everything felt new. Bed linen and mattress are hotel level. There’s a balcony with a view of jungle and mountains, sometimes you can see monkeys and mongooses from it. The location is very calm but at the same time just short walk away from good restaurants, also tuk tuks to the Ella are cheap and fast. Duzi is a great host, very attentive and professional, he showed me Ellas main attractions, and always made sure that I was doing well. Could not recommend enough!

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Ella, Sri Lanka, and had an amazing experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The highlight of my stay was the host, Dulshan, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He went above and beyond to arrange everything I needed, from transportation to local tours and recommendations for the best spots in town. If you’re looking for a great place to stay with top-notch hospitality, I highly recommend this hotel!

It is indeed a paradise! The terrace with the view is stunning! This was the best breakfast we had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and we stayed in way more luxury places too. The room is comfortable and clean and you have airconditioning, something rare in Ella. And the host Shan is amazing! He gave us great tips and arranged everything for us. Always responsive, the tuk tuk available, he made our stay! Thank you so much Shan!

Although it's not located in the city center, it's right at one of the train station stops. Following the tracks, you can get to the city in a 25-minute straight line, with views and all kinds of animals to boot. The hotel owner also has his own tuk-tuk and offers to pick you up and take you on a tour of Ella at the best price. The breakfasts are delicious. And, without a doubt, the best value for money.
