Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, connect with nature, and feel genuinely cared for, Ceylon Resort Wilpattu is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend the stay and Service highly enough!

Super nice, comfortable and clean room in the midst of nature. We had a self cooked dinner which was delicious!! Very nice staff. I can really recommend this accommodation if you want to do the safari since it’s super close to the park entrance. We will miss Guri the dog of the property 🥲

The safari with the guide that was very experienced, a 10/10 experience. The warm hospitality from the host and his wife. they were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Very close to the park, very clean, friendly staff! We went on the hotels own safari and it was amazing! Our guide very enthousiastic and brave in finding animals. The rooms were very clean, the food delicious, we had our meals in the room which was very convenient. We stayed one extra night.

I had an incredible stay at Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park! The lodge is in a perfect location, just a short drive from the park entrance, making it super convenient for early morning safaris. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. The eco-friendly concept adds a unique charm to the experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Every meal felt like a home-cooked delight! What truly stood out was the amazing hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made the stay even more special. One of the highlights of our trip was the private guided safari arranged by the lodge. Having a knowledgeable ranger accompany us made all the difference—we saw incredible wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and an abundance of bird species.
