My stay at the Glima Eco Lodge was an amazing choice and I wished I could spent more time here. Roshani and her husband are such an inspiring and lovely couple. They treat you like you re a part of their family and serve you one of the best food I ever had in my LIFE! The Eco Lodge is so beautiful, it’s very clean and so cozy. The lake is infront of you and you can hear beautiful sounds of birds. The fireplace and the environment is so relaxing and you have the space only for you! I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the room was beautiful, and everything looked almost brand new. What truly sets this place apart is the host — the level of care went far beyond anything I could have expected. I had some health issues during my stay, and the host not only helped me but even drove me to the hospital in the middle of the night and assisted with everything there. I am truly, deeply grateful — very, very, very, very grateful. They also organized an elephant safari for us in Udawalawa, which was absolutely fantastic. It really shows that the whole team can take care of everything you need. The breakfast was delicious, but above all, it’s the people who run this place that create such an exceptional atmosphere. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

The Service was amazing, super friendly and really thought through. The food of the owners mum was the best food we had so far, i never had such a good mango Curry. Also the Safari was super, the Driver gave us always enough time to spot animals. In general, you gonna feel like home at this place.

Beautiful and very well kept place near the reserve. We stayed only one night and was met with a traditional meal. Early next morning we had a 4 hour excursion that was arranged by the hotel. Great, clean and friendly if you want to visit Udawalawe nature reserve.
