We booked the hotel to catch an early morning flight with no high expectations, however we left extremely happy with the whole experience wishing we could have stayed a little longer. The staff was so caring with my 4 year old child they even prepared a kid's meal which saved our day as most meals in Sri Lanka are spicy. The free airport shuttle is a bonus and it took us around 25min to get there.

The guys at the location were very nice, responded to every quiery. We came around 10pm and needed to leave at 3pm, we had everything to spend a pleasant night, repack and rest. The owner himself transfered us to airport at 3pm free of charge.

It’s a pity we discovered this place only at the end of our trip, as we decided to stay here the night before our departure. Located 15–20 minutes from the airport, this spot is truly delightful. This is the perfect place to start or finish your trip to Sri Lanka. Hiru Lagoon sits right on the lagoon and you wake up to the most beautiful sunrise. The room is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a great pool that looks out directly into the water. We were the first to try the newly purchased kayak and had fun paddling round the lagoon. We were also fortunate enough to be taken for a boat ride round the lagoon at sunset which was spectacular. Included breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we got to try something different every day. We also decided to stay in for dinner each night and it was an amazing introduction to Sri Lankan food. We left relaxed and cared for.

My partner and I stayed here for one night on arrival in Sri Lanka. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were superb. The staff were all really lovely and provided excellent service.
