The place is very clean. We loved the location and authentic vibe. We booked a Safari with the owner and it was a fantastic experience. Our 2 little boys also enjoyed the stay. Amazing location, next to the beach and surrounded by nature. The hotel is peaceful, simple and authentic, with hippie vibes. The host, Babou, is the kindest person ever!! He always makes sure you have everything you need. He welcomed us with tea on the beach at sunset, it was magical. They have a restaurant, we had the grilled fish it was incredibly delicious! We were lucky to be the only tourists there because it was low season, and we really felt like we were lost in paradise.

An exceptional stay! The hotel is brand new, with stunning architecture and interior design. The food was absolutely incredible ! We had misunderstood and thought the pool was available to all guests, but it is actually reserved for the private villa. The owner went above and beyond to make up for our disappointment by offering us a safari tour in a gorgeous Land Rover Defender, with a very kind and knowledgeable guide. Every request we had was taken care of immediately by the amazing team — so friendly, attentive, and helpful. I truly recommend this place without hesitation, and I already can’t wait to come back and stay in the villa next time! A heartfelt thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable experience!

Shehan is an amazing host and a great cooker. All the food was really good, and he was always kind and helpfull, making our days super sweet. Anything you need, he will help you for sure. He also does safaris and has a SPA to relax. The villa has everything you will need and the bed is confy. You are close to the beach and have a natural pool close by. It's a really nice local place to stay and chill. We enjoyed a lot and remmend 100%. Looking forward to come back again some day.

Our stay at Green Nest Yala was a wonderful experience. You are in the Sri Lankan bush, surrounded by nature! The site is full of native herbal trees giving it that lush bush feel. The main lounge/ dining area and the lovely swimming pool overlook a lake. The sunsets over the lake are really pretty. The manager is such a lovely person. He was incredibly attentive and really friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that we were happy. He couldn't do more to ensure our stay was perfect. He took us for a walk to the lake at sunset and he pointed out the many crocodiles that live there!! He also pointed out many other animals and birds that live here including monkeys, rabbits, peacocks, squirrels, chameleons, lizards, large ants, water buffalo and eagles. Sometimes a wild elephant may even pass by. There are hundreds of different birds enjoying the trees at Green Nest Yala. We stayed for two relaxing nights and enjoyed all our meals here which were home cooked by the manager and truly very delicious! Our bedroom was basic but very clean and tidy. There is quiet AC and hot water. The main lodge is a great space to sit and relax. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. Oh, and the sun beds are the best! We were the only guests for most of our stay so we had the run of this delightful place to ourselves. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for a visit to the National Park should consider staying at Tringa and booking the tour with them as they will make sure you have a great experience.

We actually only wanted to stay for two nights, after realizing that the accommodation and Sehan's care was an absolute jackpot. We immediately extended it for as long as possible. he fullfilled all our wishes, food is the best we have ever had, shehan showed us the authentic life, excursions and all-round service like in a 5 star hotel. We will be back definitely. shehan cares 24/7 for the guests, it’s a quiet Place - the beach feels like you are stranded at a private Island

Great location for Yala Safari. The house is a 20-25min walk to Kirinda beach and less than 5 min to a shop with water, fruit and snacks. We stayed to do a 12hr safari with Santha the host which was very fairly priced and really enjoyable. Very generous breakfast and lunch on safari. Way more than we could eat. The room is clean and basic but provided what we needed. Lovely seating area outside the room to relax in the garden with some lovely plants.

The family were lovely and so welcoming. We appreciate the small extra things that our host did for us The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was tidy. The bed was comfortable and there was an outdoor verandah area as well Our meals were generous, tasty and well priced. It is close to beaches and the village centre. Local bus stand is about 300 metres away. This is a great place just to chill for a few days. Highly recommended
