A perfect getaway, with plenty of sights & activities available not too far off. The option of tuk tuk tours is also available through the hotel, which is an excellent way of seeing the sights especially for someone arriving by train. The staff was very helpful, accommodating & polite. Most importantly, I travelled with my teenage daughter, and we did not feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point. Sadly the tea factory was shut for maintenance. Working through the plantation is allowed and a very pleasant pastime. It’s not a place for activity, just a restful spot.
