What an amazing stay! We were there for 3 days. Our room was super spacious, clean and well-furnished. We had access to a cute balcony to watch the sun rise and the evening mist cover the land. The room stays cool when the days are hot and heavy. There’s warm water and a blanket for the rainy ones. We stayed in one afternoon due to the weather and it was very cosy. The owners are very welcoming and eager to help. They arranged a scooter rental for us and helped us define our itinerary. The food was particularly delicious, we ate there two nights in a row. The place is also very well located and you can start hiking to the jungle bird sanctuary or the ancient catholic monastery right from the doorstep. I recommend to take the stairs and go uphill to enjoy the breathtaking view.

The exceptional staying exceeding all our expectations. Firstly, the hospitality our hosts- entire family. The real help and warmness we've received during our staying. It is skyhigh even by Sri Lanka standards. Secondly, the hotel is very close to the waterfall. We could depart very early and return in early evening. Our recommendation is that you book at least 3 days in Dilshan Hotel so that you can enjoy the waterfall and calmness of this location for some more time. Don't plan only one day here as on one day the waterfall may receive more visitors. We had 2 very fine days and one day with a crowd. Thirdly, the room and room was great. All very good value for money!

Room was really spacious and sparkle clean. This is the thing I liked about the hotel most. Manager, chef and staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, specially authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. They were so generous to ask for second servings during the meal times and offered free breakfast during our stay for my kid even though we stayed in double room. A big thank for the whole staff and surely we will come back when we visit Bandarawela again.

The lovely located villa with an extraordinary view. It must be one of the best experience eating the breakfast there when the weather is sunny. Spacious common space with balcony and living room. The owner was very nice and polite, welcomed us with charming smile in the middle of the night. Everything was super clean and tidy. 5 stars breakfast with local product included.
