We recently stayed at Ceylon Resort for two days, and it was a fantastic experience. Being a family-run business, the warmth and hospitality were palpable from the moment we arrived. We received a warm welcome, and our room was not only very clean but also beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a great night's sleep. The food was simply delicious, catering to a variety of tastes. They also arranged a safari for us, complete with packed breakfast and lunch, making our adventure even more enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable holiday. We wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend Ceylon Resort to anyone looking for a delightful getaway.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming guesthouse in Sri Lanka - the hospitality was beyond exceptional, and every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. Getting to Ceylon Wilpattu safaris & lodging feels like entering the forest: the road is a bit narrow and bumpy, but when you get to the entrance you discover a very well-kept garden and very pleasant facilities. The warm welcome from Roshan, his wife and the staff was truly pleasant: they supported our requests promptly and kindly. We had dinner at the property, hosted in a cool veranda. The food had been adapted to Western tastes but always maintaining the typical flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine: excellent dinner. Breakfast was also rich and pleasant. The rooms are in bungalows in which rest is ensured by spotty clean and reasonably spacious rooms, immersed in a very quiet and pleasant place. Complimentary water bottles are also available in the fridge in the room. This property is highly recommended.

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

This place was such a lovely surprise. We booked here last minute after a problem with our other accommodation. We were so well looked after, it felt like we were in our own private villa. Ajit was particularly amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The room itself was really cool. Very comfortable and clean with an amazing outside bathroom with a view of the trees. We had dinner and breakfast at the lodge. Both meals were excellent. They were huge - so much food! Everything was so tasty. The location is great. Right by the entrance to the park and in the middle of some fields. It was a very tranquil setting. The lodge also arranged our safari into Wilpattu and a driver to our next destination. This hotel is highly recommended.

Stay was excellent and the staff was very nice from the start of my visit, the room / location was exceptional as its was so close to the Wilpattu national park. During meals we had many options to choose from and the meals were prepared with good quality ingredients as i felt the freshness and difference in the dishes. There was also ample parking available which was great.!!! :) Free Wifi :) :) :)

We highly suggest this place - the family and the staff were very kind and keen on catering for all our needs, including organising a full-day private safari to Wilpattu and a private transportation to Anuradhapura (with the driver accompanying us to all sites we wanted). The food is very traditional and delicious. We also got an upgrade of our room for free (to a way larger one). The transparency, contagious passion and honesty of the owner were also very much appreciated. The vibe of this place is very family-like and the location is perfect to visit the area. 10/10
