It has been established in a huge piece of land, however, keeping in perspective the nature and the guests who seek calmness and peace it only has 8 rooms on the entire property. The rooms and washrooms have been designed and furnished very beautifully and the entire property is aesthetically marvellous. The pool and the bar next to it is a wonderful place to relax and is very well furnished. Both the pools ie the main pool and the kids pool are very well maintained. The dining area is also extremely beautiful. The food at the hotel was very tasteful at the menu had various options. They arranged a live music and special dinner on pool side on the Christmas Eve and it was good fun. The staff at the hotel is extremely good and they take good care of all of your requirements. The management is also extremely helpful and they interact with you frequently to cater to any of your concerns. I played cricket with staff there and had a good relaxing time.

The surroundings are a peaceful oasis, the food is incredibly delicious, and the bedroom is very clean. We visited a safari, and the hotel assisted us with a driver and a guide—which allowed us to see elephants and even a leopard in the wild! Udara is an absolute star, and always on hand with anything you may need.
He even took us down to the local beach as we wanted to relax on the sun and this was beautiful too and only a short ride away.
The food on the evening prepared by Udaras mother and auntie was fantastic and so tasty, and plentiful.
Even a washing machine is available should you need to freshen anything up.
I happened to cut a toe on a rock, and the lovely Udara went out of his way to get some antiseptic cream for the cut which was so kind and thoughtful.
We can highly recommend staying here, Udara sorted out our jeep for the morning safari and came with us which helped to spot all the wildlife in Yala national park and a lovely breakfast was provided to have at our convenience.

This place is amazing.
This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.
It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot.
Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities.
It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears
the park is beutiful but
* jeeps number should be limited
* we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...
We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.
I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

We spent one night in Yala Jungle Haven, and did half day safari with the owner.
The localisation of the hotel is absolutly amazing, very close to the entrance of the national parc, immersion into the nature 100% guaranteed !
Thusara and his nephew are really kind, and they did everything to organize for us a wonderful safari. We get lucky enough to see 2 leopards!! And they did everything to manage to be the really first one to come inside the park.

This hotel is in an idyllic location overlooking lush paddy fields next to a stream which attracts beautiful birds. The staff are so caring and kind and the rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The food is lovingly prepared and served enthusiastically. They can help with any trip or journey you want to make including to the amazing Yala National Park.

The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was excellent, and the location was great. If you spend a few days here, you’ll be able to see a variety of wild animals similar to what you'd encounter on a Yala safari. Although the hotel is located in a wild, natural setting, the management ensures that it is safe for guests to stay and move around freely.

Lowin yala hotel is the best hotel to travel yala
This hotel location is best view. Very friendly and super managmet. We can book safari and that experience is awesome... i am highly recommend that hotel
