Lovely hosts who also speaks English (which is a bonus) and always available if you need something but not in your way. Great location (Lake 10 min walk). Would most definitely recommend to stay :)

Perfect little apartment, located on the first floor. Nicely decorated and had super comfortable bed. I travel a lot and I had one of the best sleeps in this place. 👌 Apartment is walking distance from shops and town. Super easy to check in. Was quiet and peaceful to stay there. Can’t fault anything about it. I will certainly stay again if I’ll be going to Aluksne.

Despite being almost 200 km from the seashore the city had an inspiring shore holiday feel with a great beach side island in the middle of the city. Great place to learn about the history and the origin of written Latvian language.

Clean and well kept city. Many historical places of interest. Tourist information provided in hotel lobby useful and practical. Hotel staff knowledgeable to suggest activities and festivals taking place in the city. Restaurants and coffee shops abound.

A very beautiful city on the shores of the lake, you can have a delicious meal in a cafe, friendly service. Getting around by car is very good, quiet traffic, there is somewhere to park, everything is tidy, clean, it is very pleasant to be there.

Wonderful city! Lots of attractions and entertainment. I definitely recommend enjoying the beauty of this city. The only inconvenience - after 7 pm. We went to various restaurants to eat soup, but they were closed.

Alūksne and its surroundings are very well-kept and beautiful. An ideal place for nature lovers and travelers who like to walk or ride a bike. Observation towers offer wonderful views. On the island you can enjoy concerts, performances, do sports, ride boats, eat. It all depends on the interests and desires of the travelers themselves.

Host was so nice and helpful, and check-out system was very convenient! The views were amazing and the place was one of the coziest I have ever stayed in. I actually enjoyed that there was no electricity for an unplugged stay where I could enjoy the moment. It never got too hot, because the water cooled the downstairs room very well. I will no doubt choose this place when I come to Alūksne again! :)

excellent hotel, rooms are super nice, modern and clean, everything is very well maintained. Beds are great. Bathroom very well laid out. Restaurant is very good, great food and wine for very reasonable prices. Good breakfast, staff is super friendly. Good location close to the narrow gauge railway, would definitively stay here again

Well furnished and comfortable apartment. Hot shower, comfy bed, quiet. Nice decor. Easy self check-in and check-out. Cable channels, good internet. A supermarket nearby, walk to town centre 20 minutes. Free toiletries, tea and coffee. Liked Aluksne, the lake and the place so well that extended my stay to 3 nights.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The nature in the surroundings is wonderful. There are no problems with parking. You choose breakfast from a few menus - it was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, so we didn't have dinner. The room is big.
