Spacious outside and inside sitting areas, pool and sauna were great, beds pretty comfy and the kitchen was properly stacked with everything you can possibly think of, including spices (we brought our own, expecting salt and pepper only). Lake is a few steps down from the property, where you can go for a swim or take a SUP, changing huts are right by the lake too. Location is great to visit waterfalls and Kuldiga itself, caves and, also, owner suggested ostrich and goats farm - which proven to be a great little hidden gem, young ladies serving and giving a tour were an absolute joy and the food at the restaurant on site was lovely too. Little minimarket is 2 min walk away from the property and has everything you might possibly need, from groceries, toileitries, drinks and eben coal for bbq. All in all - a great place at a great location and more than reasonably priced.

The house itself, the nice detailed artwork of renovation, the location in the heart of Kuldīga is perfect. Breakfast was super and features even another historic building. This was by far the best accommodation during our three weeks in Latvia.

I booked a large room for one night, perfect for visiting the city center and to check how the vimba fish jumps over the Rumba waterfall. The view of the old buildings from my window significantly enhanced the atmosphere. The reception is conveniently located within the restaurant, where the food is exceptionally tasty—I highly recommend dining there for both dinner and breakfast. Good location. Although the hotel doesn't offer its own parking but there are a lot of free city parking spots around. The price-quality ratio is ideal.

Beautiful hotel, quiet and you could hear the birds in the morning as it’s surrounded by woods… nice rooms, nice service, great price. Recommend to drive to town, walk might be a bit far… but possible. Kuldiga, we loved you
