We got to stop in town accidetially because of a car repair. The guesthouse was the best that could Happen to us. Even on a day the guesthouse was closed, we were allowed to stay one extra day.

The building and its facilities were old, but the place had some great advantages that made up for it. It was in a good location, with lots of restaurants nearby and the Soatrans bus station just a short distance away. During my stay, I was able to take a taxi-brousse for a day trip to visit both Anja Park (a community reserve) and Ranomafana National Park. I really enjoyed the food at the hotel's restaurant, so I had dinner there with a beer. The manager, Mika, was always smiling and friendly, and he kindly gave me all the travel information I needed. Thanks to him, I was able to relax and rest well, both physically and mentally.

From the moment I entered the gate, Manga Blue and its team made me feel truly welcomed. Everything, from the food to the ambiance is excellent. This is such a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of Fianarantsoa - such good value for money! The food was excellent and the staff were very accomdating with our request for an accommodating bed. It's a great location if you're looking to spend a few nights in the city and want to be close to public transport links. Hot water and the wifi works really well in the restaurant. I'll be staying here again!

The people working there were super nice! Very helpful and always smiling! Food was also very good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a fireplace which was amazing for the slightly cold nights we had when we were there. Morning wake up with the sounds of nature, outside our bedroom window there was a choir of birds which gave us the best morning wake up. Laundry service was also great! Fast, and perfectly done with a great fresh smell! We stayed there to visit Ranomafana National Park, which was about an hour drive to reach it.

We loved how unique our accommodation was; we stayed in the Train Wagon. The staff, especially the lady who received us was super inviting and happy to share tips on what local food we should try for dinner. I had some form of stir fried vegetables which were absolutely delicious!

Clean, spacious, and comfortable room with shared bathroom. Great value for the price. Located in a residential neighborhood just outside the city center (if you don't have your own transport you can take a taxi for 10,000-15,000 Ariary). The communal terrace in the lower building has a nice view over the town. Egg and baguette breakfast available for a good price. WIFI worked well. Toki is a very sweet and welcoming host.
