The hotel and restaurant were both very welcoming and comfortable. I had a medical episode and the staff went extraordinary levels to help me. Their manager, Kaed even stayed overnight with me in the hospital so that he could act as my interpreter. That was beyond any service that I could expect.

Cheapest accommodation in Majunga and very convinient after coming with taxi brousse as its only 5 min by tuc tuc from station. Staff is really friendly. I can't speak French and they did everything to communicate with me and answer all my questions. Few places to eat and local market just 5 min walking. Simple breakfast was included just as booking said, you just need to ask. Hotel was quiet, AC worked great whole night, mosquito net was awesome. Queen size bed even for one person, good wifi (I work remotely so I really appreciate it). Clean bathroom, no hot water, but it's not freezing, rather totally pleasant temperature (in this weather I don't get taking hot showers anyway). Big suprise - you can pay by card and exchange rate to ariars is fair. All you can expect for this price, for backpacker like me, it's even a luxury. I felt safe and comfortable, which is very important for solo female traveler. Thank you!

This beautiful place is a safe and tranquil paradise on the coast of an African island. The hosts, Philip and Patrick, are the most wonderful and hospitable people in the world, I am endless grateful to them for the warm welcome and sensitive attitude to us after our long and hard road. For those traveling by car the house is ideal - there is parking place in the front yard while the back yard overlooks the ocean. 10 minutes by car in the city center there are supermarkets and a currency exchange office. I am delighted with the design and atmosphere of the house - it is a cozy, safe place that is pleasant to be in and where you want to return. It was the first time I felt so comfortable during my entire three-week trip around the island, largely thanks to the hosts. The space inside the house is perfectly organized, the kitchen has everything you need - simple but beautiful dishes, a coffee maker and wine glasses. In the lobby you can look through amazing interesting books. What I loved the most was drinking coffee in the morning at the open veranda, which goes to the inner green garden and further, through the leaves, is seen the ocean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beauty and relaxation.

The best and kindest host. Although, when I arrived there were some issues about the use of facilities and the room that I've booked online but the matter was resolved very soon. Both Yolanda and Roberto had been very hospitable and helpful and Yolanda has provided me the free transport and accompanied me to the immigration office for my visa extension and without her help perhaps it was very difficult to do it. The place, it's look like a castle, very clean and the room service on a daily basis.
