Absolutely fantastic experience , the hotel exceeded all of our expectations, the staff were incredible friendly and attentive, the room were spotless and well decorated, and the location was perfect close. The breakfast was delicious with wide variety of choices and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing.

Very nice stay in a clean apartment. The breakfast was great (even though we accidentally ordered soup). The best thing about this hotel was the staff! I forgot my headphones in the hotel room and they managed to get them to Skopje (for free) to a shop where I was able to pick them up. It was very nice to meet such kind people.

I planned a whole day for Tetovo, but 2-3 hours would be...

I planned a whole day for Tetovo, but 2-3 hours would be enough. There are no cafes or restaurants in the city, the city center is a concrete square. The beautiful Colorful Mosque and this is the only place worth seeing.

We only stayed in Tetovo because we were driving from Skopje...

We only stayed in Tetovo because we were driving from Skopje to Ohrid. Looking back, we would have skipped Tetovo and gone straight to Ohrid. Except for one small colourful mosque, this city has very little, almost nothing to offer for tourists.

Very nice and cheap.

Very nice and cheap. But be careful about parking in the city, because they like foreigners and the fine will cost you 1000 denars, which is about €20. The food is good and you can try real Macedonian food cheaply.

We only stayed one night because we were coming from Ohrid...

We only stayed one night because we were coming from Ohrid and it was the shortest route to the airport the next morning. But we liked the city; it was cosmopolitan and lively. We went to see an incredible mosque, which we believe is the oldest in Macedonia, and we had dinner at the hotel, which was one of the best meals we've had. Excellent value for money and very good wine.

Good bakery opposite the university.

Good bakery opposite the university. Beautiful "Colorful Mosque," but otherwise nothing worth seeing in the city. About 10 minutes outside by car, there's an interesting bathing complex with "healing" water from a geothermal stream. Unfortunately, here too, as in many places in Macedonia, there's too much carelessly discarded trash.

Tetovo is a pleasant little town with a few interesting...

Tetovo is a pleasant little town with a few interesting places. From the remains of the fortress, you have a beautiful view of the city (if the trees aren't in the way). The Arabati Baba Tekke and the Painted Mosque are particularly interesting places to visit.
