Lovely location close to the beach. We had a ground floor garden room which felt secluded and quiet. The added convenience of leaving front or back was great. The meals were amazing - buffet breakfast very extensive. Lunch at Infinity Blue super, the chicken Caesar salad was sooo lovely, had it a couple of times. Staff very attentive, 3 or 4 especially impressive. Pools lovely, although the children’s pool had the best view of beach and sunset.

We had the most amazing stay at Outrigger! The property is so well equipped for families - 3 different pools, a fun slide for the kids, and a beautiful and relaxing beachfront. We loved that we could choose from the main buffet style restaurant or the lovely Edgewater restaurant for dinner, and enjoy delicious lunch at Le Bleu. There was also a wine bar which looked nice, but we didn’t end up going there. The main pool has a lovely semi separate shallow section where our son could splash around safely by our feet, which we loved. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a villa, which was so unexpected and so special. Such a stunning space!

My wife and son had their best time before school resumes. The level of service is definitely unique in the world i would say as i travel frequently. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart. Our stay was fantastic. The service was perfect, everybody was super nice. The food was really good. Our chalet experience was flawless and was exactly what we were looking for in Mauritius. Since it is located in the middle of green paradise, insects and mosquitos were inevitable. However the mosquito net on the bed was more then enough to protect us during the night.

There’s not much to do in Bel Ombre except for the hotel...

There’s not much to do in Bel Ombre except for the hotel complex. There are also not really restaurants except those in the hotel complex. You are much better with a car. However the hotel complex is huge with plenty of facilities so you can easily stay at the complex for a few days if you don’t have a car/don’t want to go exploring.

the beach was lovely although a smokers & non smokers area is a nice option i would had prefered ... as i am a non smoker... the cleanliness and location was wonderful & gorgeous ! food options for buffet was good however the room service options ought to have more choice for dietry and enjoyment! entertainment was good and fun... also the water sports option was ideal ! kind welcoming staff who were sweet hosts! thankyou!

Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and...

Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and nature at its best. Tamassa Bel Ombre is located next to two golf courses, a natural reserve and barely minutes away from other landmarks in Mauritius (south). Roads are safe - so it's easy to drive around but if you are after a complete relaxing holiday, venturing out of Tamassa is purely an extra then. The resort is fully equipped and offers a great opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, para-kiting in a well protected and clean bay.

I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...

I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. We ended the day at Curious Corner which the kids (and I loved).

The area is quite simple but with a local character.

The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. You need a car to get around comfortably.

For the Family:

For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Wonderful staff.

Beautiful clean and spacious apartments, set in the quiet village of Bel Ombre, beautiful garden with pool! Stayed on the top floor 3bedroom apartment, great views and two latge balconies, perfect for families. Such great hosts that made our stay very enjoyable from the first moment we arrived, and assisted us perfectly with everything such as booking C Beach Club, which is perfect to relax for the day and only 2 minutes by car. Would stay again for sure!

Our holiday at the hotel was wonderful. Very good food, nice people, all the time they made sure that we didn't lack anything. Wiktor with the service a wonderful man. There are several restaurants in the hotel, so everyone will choose something for themselves. Beautiful golf course, great kids club. General manager great person, very friendly to guests, very helpful. It's a pity that the holidays pass so quickly.

The location of the hotel was perfect, and that's about the best thing we liked about it. Also, the food in the breakfast and dinner buffet was good and there was a nice variety, plus live music each night which was nice. The resort itself is big and beautiful, and the Beach Room had a nice view of the ocean, but also had some issues.

Our group of 9 people had a pleasant stay at Kazalala Hosted B&B for 2 nights. Especially grateful for the receptionist Jayah, who was very helpful, answered our questions and let us leave our luggages after the check out. The hotel is nice, the rooms are comfortable and unique local style. The breakfast could have more variety.

I kiked the welcome and the tour. The hotel was quite clean, the staff very welcoming and the waiters,servers and managers very receptive. Very big thanks for the Non Alcoholic Sparkling Drink which they gave us as a result of our 2nd honeymoon.
