Wonderful hotel with beachfront location. Super attentive staff always welcoming you with a smile. We did a couple of excursions with them and they were great. It was by far the best hotel in our trip to Maldives. They supply beach towels every day and lovely breakfast. We tried the dinner at the beach and it was great.

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. We had the most amazing vacation at this beautiful hotel. Hotel is small and perfect for quiet getaway, we got a room overlooking the beach and the sea. Room itself is very big, spacious and comfortable, bed is soft and comfy, bathroom is really large and spacious with enough toiletries for duration of the stay, towels are changed regularly and the room is cleaned daily! There is kettle for tea/coffee and small fridge which is very convenient! Beach is amazing, 5 steps away from hotel with enough beach chairs and beautiful view. Staff at the hotel is amazing, literally everyone is so polite, welcoming, smiling and going out of their way to make your stay memorable, from housekeeping, restaurant staff to managment. Special thanks to Poky for arranging beautiful excursions with manta rays and sea turtles. There are only few restaurants on the island and we tried food in all of them but we loved the food at the hotel restaurant the most and ate there most of the time. Pick up with the boat, flight tickets for domestic flight, everything was arranged by hotel staff. There were only 2 or 3 other couples with us in the hotel at the time so we enjoyed full privacy and had the whole beach for ourselves throughout our journey. But the most amazing part of this hotel is in-house coral reef right in front of beach! We were so mesmerized with the amount of beautiful exotic fish and sea life which can keep you occupied for hours and hours if you like snorkeling and exploring. Except thousands of different fish species we also encountered sting rays, sea turtles, sharks etc… on a daily basis. It’s more interesting than any national geographic documentary movie. So this place is absolutely perfect for relaxing holiday at exotic location, we would recommend it to anyone and would be the most happy to come back again! One week was not enough for our stay!

Our stay was amazing from the beginning till the end. Guesthouse vibe with hotel level service, loved it. Our hosts did their best to help us with everything, really flexible, kind and helpful. The bed is huge and confortable, room had lots of space and was really clean, amazing breakfast! Would love to stay here again, the value for money is best we’ve seen so far.

    Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

    Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

    The manta snokelling trip in Hanifaru bay was stunning - seeing ~20 giant manta rays, the sensation is just difficult to describe in words! And the sunset fishing trip was also beyond expectation - we caught amost 20 fishes and the guesthouse helped cook the catch without surcharge.

    The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.

    Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation.     Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport...

    Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
