If you are looking for a nice getaway, private and not harassed don't go here. There is a gatekeeper at the parking lot reporting to the owner right away and she has cameras at the front entrance. The condo had capacity for 6 people, I registered 3 and at the last minute took an extra 2 folks. Instantly, I was having to pay for those additional people through Zelle. The listing mentioned Air Conditioner, no such thing. My 96 year old father suffered at night without any cool air. The listing agent told me it was booking.com's fault. I called booking.com customer service and they stated it was her fault. Later that day, the property owner changed the listing to read “heating” vs air conditioner. Not having AC during these high heat wave times are not easy to deal with. It would have made sense to be transparent and price accordingly and add extra floor fans. Condition of the property could have been better. The hallway sink was slow at draining. The property owner thought it was odd that this was happening since the property gets verified before a new customer rents. I felt it was odder that there wasn’t any toilet paper for one of the bathrooms, plus the toilet paper holder was completely broken. We walked to the beach in the morning which was so peaceful and tranquil. There were people offering horseback rides on the beach for $300 MX pesos per hour. We parked at Mr. Biscuit Breakfast and Bakehouse and walked to the beach. The breakfast was amazing. They brought us biscuits, butter and jam when we were seated. I love Rosarito!
I love Rosarito! There are many dining options and the beach was very clean and entertaining. The little shops are cute! The food is amazing. The only thing I don't like is how pushy some of the street vendors are. El Nido is my favorite restaurant there. They have so many options to choose from, but their Marlin Tacos, Cadillac Margaritas, Breaded Squid, and their housemade fresh flour tortillas are 😚👌Guest review byKato - 8.0
Rosarito was great.
Rosarito was great. My sister and I did a quick day trip from San Diego. We hired a driver to pick us up from the border and got to enjoy local food and drinks, all while feeling safe. We got a hotel under $50 and hung out there after our driver dropped us off at 9pm. In the morning, we walked down the street and had a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant. It was definitely clean and having all the amenities of home (refrigerator, coffee maker, plates, utensils, TV, hot water in the shower, etc.) made the stay even better. We were able to walk all along the main street, go to all the restaurants, walk along the beach, and shop WITHOUT the headache and stress of having to look for parking or being too far away.
