It was great, the staff was super helpfull, we got the room twu hours earlier, its abou 15 min. Away from the airport, you get one use of the shutle to the airport for free, after that it costs 22 euro per shutle, and uber costs more than that, it great

The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam which was only 30mins away. Watching the sunset over the water and saying good morning to the resident swan was a great way to start and end a busy day. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and comfortable and the hosts were fantastic and accommodating.

    Lovely city close to Schiphool.

    Lovely city close to Schiphool. Lots of nice walking paths around. I love the Seringenpark and windmill in Stommeermolen. Then, you just have to visit the Flower auction Aalsmeer. That is something incredible. The public transportation is very good, but you can also reach all the places easily by walking or by bike.

    This was a nice area to stay while visiting Amsterdam.

    This was a nice area to stay while visiting Amsterdam. It was about a 25 minute drive to central Amsterdam, but it was very restful to be in a smaller community with a a few small shops, stores and restaurants after spending the day taking in all the sights and sounds of central Amsterdam.

    Is is a lovely village with very nice people.

    Is is a lovely village with very nice people. Really paceful and a very good place to stay if you have business in the schiphol area or amsterdam. I recommend the restaurants around the beautiful lake and the hotels Blue Mansion, Alsmeer Hotel and Chariot.

    Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far...

    Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far enough away that the city does not swamp you. It is close to Amsterdam Bos, which is a massive park, filled with cycle paths. There is shopping and excellent cafes and restaurants. Close by also, is Amstelveen, and I can recommend Colijn restaurant, which is simply amazing. The tram into the Amsterdam is frequent and fast, or you can use RAI park and ride which we used several times because of the simplicity and cost. If you have a car, reaching places like Naarden and Utrecht is straightforward (and both recommended). There is so much historic and modern Netherlands within easy reach of Aalsmeer I can strongly recommend staying here.

    A very nice and quiet city.

    A very nice and quiet city. People were great, we had the opportunity to visit this very nice place, "the Beach" with we enjoyed a lot. People at the front desk were also wonderful. Thank you, we will come back on our next visit to the Netherlands.

    I found this to be a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. The Staff are very friendly and easygoing, and I felt comfortable immediately upon entering the place. Over the 4 nights, the room was spotlessly clean and warm, the bed comfortable, the shower and toilet adequate. The prices are reasonable, the food in the restaurant is excellent (the onion soup was one of the best I’ve had) and it is centrally located - everything you need is close to hand. Great place and highly recommended.

    Location is good as a base to explore The Netherlands, not so good to getting around Amsterdam. The hotel was clean, well-kept with nice decoration, the room was comfortable, bed was excellent, bathroom was spacious. The shuttle bus from/to the airport was very helpful, always on time. The forest near by looks nice though we have no time to explore it.

    The dinner at the hotel of the ribs was excellent with chunky chips which we full of flavour. The room was very spacious with clean towels, sheets appliances. Quite close to the airport at only 12mins away. A bit of noise from planes but not really a cause for concern. Good, free shuttle service between the hotel and airport.

    I always love staying at Hotel Aalsmeer. Very easy to reach to Keukenhof and Amsterdam by public transportation. Peaceful and quiet environment. Lovely and very clean rooms. Hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful. There are several sightings closely for nature lovers, I enjoyed walking around the area.
