Such a lovely chalet and really nicely decorated. Everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable and lovely quiet relaxing location. Very kind to allow guests to use your bikes, we cycled to the nearest village to buy breakfast. The beach area looks lovely and we would definitely visit again in the summer if we are in the area. Thank you so much for a wonderful night's stay in your peaceful chalet

Perfect hotell for us when we wanted some peace and quiet from the city. The breakfast was soo good and the room was big. Also we got to use the pool in the evening free. Very very very happy about out stay!

The cottage is neat, and there's plenty to do in the...

The cottage is neat, and there's plenty to do in the surrounding area: a beautiful forest and a lovely beach (lake) with attractions. It was too cold to use now, but it's perfect in the summer. The owner was very friendly and even came to check on me because I didn't know how the electric lock worked. The cottage is truly spotless and has all the amenities.

Erm is a small town near Emmen.

Erm is a small town near Emmen. It's a great place for walking and cycling. The Sleen mountain bike trail is nearby. In Erm, you can get a good steak on route 34. Furthermore, the park is quiet and offers plenty of privacy.

Besides the fantastic beach, I really liked the infrastructure. But the best thing was the peace and quiet! No annoying neighbors, and everyone was incredibly friendly. I was always greeted with a friendly wave and a good morning during my morning run.

Erm is well-located for exploring further into Drenthe.

Erm is well-located for exploring further into Drenthe. It's not far from Nieuw-Amsterdam, where the Van Gogh Museum is worth a visit. Further north, near the Kiel exit, it's worth visiting the ceramics and glassworks in the Tuinenh (gardens) near Eeserveen. Of course, Emmen and Wildlands aren't far either.

Small but perfectly formed, a fantastic lake with a water...

Small but perfectly formed, a fantastic lake with a water skiing facility and restaurants. Plus, a lovely beach and plenty of play areas for children. Whether you're looking for peace and quiet or a family with kids, this is the place for you. Shopping is available in the nearby neighboring town.

Excellent host, very kind and helpful.

Excellent host, very kind and helpful. The Ermerstrand is just a stone's throw from the accommodations (on the beach if you rent the Riegheide chalet). Everything is provided in the chalet; you don't need to bring anything from home (think cooking utensils, etc.). All in all, a wonderful stay that we will definitely return to.

Extremely well equipped, with attention to the tiniest details (fresh set of earplugs? check. good toiletries? check. full deck of spices for those cooking? check!). Lovely, high quality furnishing - not ikea :-) Friendly host -- the owner offered to drive us to Sleen (Erm is a tiny bit of a detour when you are walking the Pieterpad). Truly exceeding all expectations.
