The hotel is owned by a family and we really felt like visiting (previously unknown) relatives. We were well looked after, but the attention to one's wellbeing is shown in a charming and unobtrusive way. The house itself is beautifully restored and well equipped. The breakfast was served at the table and was delicious.

An absolutely exceptional hotel! Placed among many excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs, really easy to get to from the train station (15 minutes walk max.). The room was very spacious, with superb curtains for anyone sensitive to the morning light. The coffee machine in the room was a perfect addition for people in love with their morning cup of joe ;-) The bathroom was very clean, with enough space for 2 people. The overall interior design of the hotel was also very pleasant - especially the bar and reception areas (as cool as in some hostels but with a hotel quality of service ;-) ). I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Groningen!

The staff was always helpful,friendly and polite. The location was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I ll definitely stay there again. I really appreciated a little note left on the desk in the room welcoming us in Groningen.

I liked the room , it was spectacular. The breakfast was great and out of this world. The bed and beddings were comfortable with great bedding changes everyday on a daily basis.

A very warm welcome by the hosts, felt like I was a distant cousin coming to visit them. They were enthusiastic to explain everything about their place in Haren. On the property there was a small but lively garden which had a pond with tiny red fish swimming in it. Room itself was bigger than I expected and had a kitchen in it. Complimentary tea and coffee were included. For this price you cannot get a better deal near Groningen.
